EC: Yes, we have the body here; this we have had before.

As we find, conditions are not so good. While that which has arisen is rather of the nature of ACUTE conditions, this involves much that is astrological - and in a condition that unless there are changes will make for a reversal to much that has been helped in the past.

This, as we find, is rather a congestion in the mucous membrane of the duodenum [Gastroduodenitis? Stomach colic? Catarrhal gastritis?], and involves - through the circulatory forces - the circulation through the jejunum. Hence it produces not only nausea but a very high temperature, and must eventually - unless eliminated - cause congestion through the colon.

We find that we would in the present begin with these:

To half a glass of water we would add:
Paregoric…1/2 teaspoonful, Almost saturated solution of Epsom Salts…1/2 teaspoonful, Spirits of Camphor…1/2 teaspoonful.
Take this every hour until there is not only the alleviation but a full activity from the bowels.

Then, as soon as this has acted, we would begin with the Castoria and take same until IT has acted; half a teaspoonful every half hour.

Or the treatment may be reversed in THIS order:

Begin with the Castoria; half a teaspoonful every fifteen minutes, until there is a full activity. And put the Salts Pack of the Epsom Salts with the Paregoric and Camphor in same across the abdomen; making for the activity by absorption.

These, as we find, would be the better conditions for the body, in either direction.

We would also bathe the feet in warm water to take the temperature from the head, that is producing inflammation in the soft tissue of face and head - and the pressure there by temperature. To the lungs, the throat and the head this produces a great distress.

Orange juice, citrus fruit juices, should be all that should be taken; save a little coffee with toast - until this has been reduced.

(Q) Is the whole half glass of the solution of Paregoric and Epsom Salts be taken - (A) Be taken as has been given; half a teaspoonful in half a glass of water. Take it until there is the action. Or take it the other way round; that is, the Castoria and the Epsom Salts, Paregoric and Camphor PACKS. Either way, whichever is more preferable.
