Date: 5/11/1935 Sex: F Age: 55 ReadingID: 3776
This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 11th day of May, 1935, in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. [538], Active Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.
[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno.]
Time of Reading 11:35 to 11:40 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. (Physical Suggestion)
-
EC: Yes, we have the body here, [538]; this we have had before.
-
There are improvements, as we find, in many of those disturbances through the activity of the organs of the pelvis and the irritation that has been indicated there.
-
As we find, there would be the more ready response from the disturbing factors in the present if there were three to five periods of a thorough manipulation, osteopathically given; making for stimulation particularly in the lumbar area, and more specifically in the upper dorsal and cervical area.
-
Then have periods of about twice a week when the violet ray would be applied, preferably using the bulb, along the cerebrospinal system; stimulating with this application (which should be for ten to fifteen minutes) particularly those portions about the diaphragm area, both in the frontal portion and across the cerebrospinal area.
-
Doing this, and being mindful to keep rather the alkalin diet, we will reduce the acidity and thus make for better coordinations through the body.
-
Ready for questions.
-
(Q) Should I continue with the violet ray vaginal applicator treatment? (A) No.
-
(Q) Should I continue with the douches of Glyco-Thymoline? (A) These are very good.
-
(Q) How often? (A) About once or twice a week, unless there is a tendency for a discharge; then oftener.
-
(Q) What will relieve the itching? (A) The application of the violet ray in the external, with the manipulations as specifically given for the lumbar area, coordinating the upper dorsal and cervical with same.
-
(Q) Where should the violet ray be applied on the frontal part of the body? (A) Across the diaphragm area and, of course, extending on either side to the lower portion of the abdomen. Then on the back from the upper portion of the cervical area to the end of the spine. A small rotary motion on either side of the spine is the better stimulation.
The manipulations osteopathically [We referred her to Dr. M. L. Richardson, D.O.] we would take ONCE a week for four to five to six such adjustments, see?
-
(Q) There seems to be quite an irritation and a raw feeling on the outside? Would any lotion help this? (A) Any good cold cream would be preferable; with a small quantity, of course, of the White Vaseline.
-
(Q) What is the condition of the blood? (A) Tendency towards an acidity. Hence the diet for more alkalinity. The Citrocarbonates taken occasionally will be helpful in this direction also.
-
(Q) Am I keeping the blood built up properly? (A) It’s very good; tendency towards an acidity, though, as indicated.
Do these things, and - as we find - we will bring the better conditions for this body.
- We are through with this reading.
