[This Reading was volunteered by Edgar Cayce, without a request being received for an appointment, follow ing a check Life Reading 338-3, on 8/30/34, after Mrs. Cayce had given the waking suggestion.]

Time of Reading 4:25 to 4:30 P. M.

  1. EC: Calomel - Colocynth - Rhubarb. These should be given to [543]; for the mercury in the Calomel will rid system of the poisons from the burn, and the Colocynth will prevent the too great a strain upon the secretions from the liver. The Rhubarb will tone the activity of the lacteal ducts and thus aid in preventing these great strains at this time.

  2. Three tablets - C.R.C. One each day for three days.

[Mr. Cayce then resumed the normal breathing in response to previous suggestion given by Mrs. Cayce and woke up - without it being necessary to give him another waking suggestion.]
