-
EC: Yes, we have the body here, Mrs. [5449] - this we have had before. In SOME respects this body has shown improvements. Of recent there has not been taken as much precaution, nor as systematic carrying out of the suggestions as were given FOR the improvement; rather a falling away into old habits, into old conditions; yet conditions are improved.
-
We would change to this character, then, of applications for the betterment of the body at the present time. We would prepare as the medicinal properties, these: First make this as the carrier for same. Take 3 ounces of Wild Cherry Bark, add to 16 ounces of distilled water. Reduce by simmering, or slow boiling - keeping covered during the time - until it is reduced to 8 ounces. Strain while warm and add first 4 ounces of simple syrup. Then reduce again to the original 8 ounces. Then add:
Compound Syrup of Sarsaparilla…1 ounce, Tincture of Stillingia…1/2 ounce, Syrup of Rhubarb…1/4 ounce, Elixir Calisaya…1 ounce, Tincture of Capsici…2 minims.
Cut 2 drams Balsam of Tolu in 2 1/2 ounces of grain alcohol. Shake solution together before the dose is taken, which should be teaspoonful 4 times each day.
-
We would also be mindful that the manipulations be given that will enable the properties to have the desired effect upon the system, as it is ASSIMILATED in the system; for the eliminations as will be set up will be beneficial to the body in RIDDING the system of the poisons and accumulations throughout the body.
-
Do that, and we will bring the bettered conditions now for this body. We are through with this reading.

Reports & Follow-up
R1. 10/22/30 Daughter [349]‘s letter: ”…I wouldn’t bother you with my personal affairs if it were not so important, but you know I have spoken to you and written to you about my mother [5449]. She has not had a check reading at all since her first, or she may have had just one, I don’t remember, but she has never felt so ill as she has lately. She isn’t able to eat a thing, and the doctor put her on a diet of only hot water. He says it is her gall bladder with possible gall stones. I wish you could get to a reading for her because we want to catch this at the start, and possibly a diet or medicine can cure her, without needing an operation. This is very serious to us or I should not be writing you about it at this time. Will you please let me know what you can do and I will get up the questions. I will appreciate it tremendously…”
R2. 10/27/30 She submitted questions for the third reading.
