This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce in the Phillips Hotel, Dayton, Ohio, this 12th day of June, 1923.

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here. This body is nearly 99 percent normal, you see. Now these are the conditions as we find them in this body. The blood supply throughout the system is very good, the numbers of red blood and of white being well balanced in the system, and the condition producing the elemental forces in replenishing the body are good.

2. In the nerve system, we find there has been in times back, some violent strain on the nervous system reached principally through mental as well as physical forces. In this we find the abnormal forces exerting themselves in the system in this manner and form: All (now this is how the conditions come about, you see), all cellular forces in the physical body have units of life of electrical or nerve force, all life being electrical in that it is vibratory. With an excess of vibrations, either organs become affected or functioning of same. In this body we find conditions well balanced throughout. The over-taxing of the cellular force in nerve system produces, in the capillary circulation, those of used forces that are not eliminated through their proper channels. On account of nerve taxation then we find that exposed parts of body, especially are affected, though some show the refuse from the pigment in the capillary force finds itself in the condition of not being eliminated, see. In the same manner the strain coming to one portion of the body, the vibration being of such as to affect the vibration of the organ nearest the same vibration we find in this body the vibration of the sense of sight suffering the most from this condition, see. With the exaggerated condition of this it is raised to the next second vibration or affects that of the speech next, see, that is with the overtaxing. The body knows what he wants to say, but the words refuse to be vibrated through, see.

3. In the functioning of the organs of the body we find the system very good. We find no abnormal condition in the functioning of the organs or organic condition. The vibration of heart forces only shows the effect of the strain on the plexus centers, see, solar plexus.

4. To relieve the condition of the eye, of the cuticle, we would give the vibration to this body that would be found in the violet ray, especially, let the treatment be to the ninth dorsal and the opposite portion of body, then at the first and second dorsal and the 7th, 6th, 5th, 4th cervical, then over the face, arms, hands, five minutes every other day, see. Do that. This will make some change in the diet of the body, but follow the inclinations of the system, see.

5. (Q) What kind of vibrations should be taken, Mr. Cayce? the violet ray? (A) We have just given it. We meant that.

6. (Q) If this treatment is followed, Mr. Cayce, that you have prescribed, will this body be able to remove his glasses? (A) He will treat the eye itself only once each week, see. Give it direct to the portions of the body as given, every other day, see.

7. (Q) How long a period of time should the treatments be given to the eyes each week, Mr. Cayce? (A) Minute to minute and a half to each eye with the direct force that is used for the eye, see.
