Time of Reading 11:20 to 11:30 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, Florida. (Physical Suggestion)
-
EC: Yes, we have the body here; this we have had before. At times we find there is quite a response to those applications that have been and are being made for the body, and at others there tends to be the reverting to disorders or distressing conditions. Hence we find the vitality and the resistances are at times broken down more than they are built up between such periods.
-
We would not change a great deal those things that have been given for keeping the better assimilations for the digestive system, yet we would make some specific changes in the applications of the massage and the neuropathic treatments for the body.
-
As we find, there is a tendency for there to be a shifting of the pressures on the pelvis axis, as well as in the upper axis or the cervical axis - at the 1st cervical. We would make pressures to relieve these strains in these attempts of the sympathetic system to coordinate, at the times there are the shiftings of the pressures on the axis, at the centers where the nerves from the cerebrospinal connect at the coccyx end of spine to the circular forces of the beginning of the sciatic nerves. Hold such pressures only by the thumb and forefinger, as a pressure with the forefinger of the left hand, on the axis about the cervical. And we will relieve much of the dizziness, we will relieve much of these pressures. And if these are given every day for periods of three to four days, then leaving off for a period of a week or ten days - and then given again, we will find the other applications will be more effective to this body.
-
Ready for questions.
-
(Q) Why the pains in various portions of the body? (A) As indicated, the system attempting to balance itself, and not the eliminations of the poisons as should be. Use the colonic irrigations occasionally - once a month to twice a month, dependent upon the general condition.
-
(Q) Why is he so weak and tires so easily? (A) As indicated, the vitality is used up by the energies of the body from the various attempts of the system to adjust itself to these balances in the system. These applications that we indicate, as we find, will aid in overcoming a great deal of this condition.
-
(Q) How much longer should the Ambergris and the antiseptic prescriptions be continued? (A) For at least a second period of those treatments as indicated by the neuropath or chiropractor who will make these pressures, you see; that is, one more quantity, then.
-
(Q) What can be done to relieve the pain so he can sleep at night? (A) We have given these.
-
(Q) Any further advice for the body’s better welfare at this time? (A) Do these, as we find for this body, [550], in the present.
This will be located, as indicated, on first the one or the other cheek of the hip, where those centers of the cerebrospinal brush end nerves come in contact with the sciatics, see? Press here, at the same time relieving the pressure in the 1st cervical center.
Do that.
- We are through with this reading.

Reports & Follow-up
R1. 1/5/35 Wife [639]‘s ltr.: “We wish so very much that we could go right ahead and carry out the rdg. for Mr. [550] in detail but it is, right at this time, financially impossible for him to take the massage and the neuropathic treatments. They are $2 a tr. and other things have piled upon us so that it is impossible. We, however, will begin as quickly as possible and hope it won’t be long. We’ll continue taking Ambergris and the antiseptic until after we can have at least two periods of the massage and pressures as given in last rdg. If the osteopath does not fully understand directions given in rdg. we will have him write to you, as you request.”

Gentlemen:
“Mr. [550] came to me on June 11, 1934 for such treatments as you had directed, I tried to give this just as you had directed. [See 550-5.]
“Yesterday Mr. [550] came for some more attention for pressure above axis and below occipital bone. I understand the importance of this center. I make pressure with thumb and fore finger of left hand for thirty seconds and then relax for a like time, repeating this for five minutes. Is that the way you want this done? I make this pressure in addition to manipulations given last summer. He says that he wants this done for four days and then wait ten days and come back that way for a time. I have agreed that is what you want.
“Should I be corrected in technique, then please do so; for, I am anxious that my work should be productive of good for the patient and be in accordance with your intention.”
Very truly, Franklin C. Rasmussen, N.D. CBL:R
R3. 2/26/35 EC’s ltr.: “As I understand it from your description, this is just the character of tr. that was intended according to the suggestions given in the rdg. I’m sure you will be able to locate just the exact spots by the relief it brings momentarily, and if persisted in should bring great lasting benefits to Mr. [550].
“Thank you for writing me. And it there are any questions at any time that you would desire to have asked, I’m sure if you would tell Mr. [550] he would be more than glad to have them included in his next check rdg.”
R4. 3/35 A.R.E. Bulletin article by HLC briefed Mr. [550]‘s case to date, with quotes from rdgs. and correspondence, showing the CONSISTENCY of the rdgs. over a period of 25 yrs. with one individual, etc.
R5. 5/6/35 Wife [639]‘s ltr.: “I have been thinking for some time that I would write you about Mr. [550]. The last time he started with the neuropathic treatment, after the Doctor wrote you, we thought we would be able to keep the treatments up, but after a few treatments circumstances prevented and he had to stop.
“There is no use trying again until we are absolutely sure of sufficient funds to be able to carry out the reading as given. We regret this very much, as there was marked improvement in his condition right along. Feel he will hold his own until the time comes that he can again take up the treatments as given in the reading. When he is able to do so we will write you.”
R6. 6/17/35 Wife [639]‘s ltr.: “Mr. [550] is feeling much better now than he has for some time, but he needs the neuropathic treatments as prescribed in reading very much for the numbness in his fingers and conditions of head, as sneezing, etc., and eyes, etc., but as yet it is impossible for him to have them.”
R7. 3/10/36 Wife [639]‘s ltr.: “We think we can see our way clear now financially to stick to the neuropathic treatments prescribed in rdg. for Mr. [550] and am anxious to begin them, but we will have to have an osteopath give them this time as Dr. Franklin C. Rasmussen [N.D.] has moved away. I was surprised in looking up correspondence to see it has been a year since Mr. [550] quit taking the treatments. We regretted so much having to, as Mr. [550] was so very much better, but it could not be helped, and we are hoping it will not have to happen this time.
“Mr. [550] is suffering greatly with his feet and legs and his head condition is much worse and he is sneezing a great deal again. We would like a new rdg. of a complete description of the condition of his body as it is today, and the prescribed remedies.” [3/13/36 EC wrote making appointment for 3/19/36. 3/15/36 Mr. [550] wrote verifying the appointment, saying he would be at his home.]
R8. 3/20/36 See 550-8, taken “as of 3/19/36,” as an emergency rdg. in re accident was given on 3/19/36 for Mrs. [1129].
