This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 24th day of June, 1926, in accordance with request made by self - Mr. [551].

1. GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of [551], of New York City, and the dream this body had on the date which I will give you. You will give the interpretation and lesson to be gained from this, as I read same to you.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [551]. Now, the dream as we see, as come to the entity are in that way and manner of manifestations, or experiences, of the various phases of the consciousness of the entity, and when applied in the way and manner as the lesson is given the entity may gain a better percept, or concept, of that in the life that will build or retard the development of this entity. For, as has been given, the entity of an exceptional turn of mind in its mental forces, especially when directed in the spiritual channel of same. Ready for dream.

3. (Q) Night of June 6, or morning of June 7, 1926. “A broker, a Mr. Z. (who at present is single) was now a married man. His wife gives birth to a beautiful child - there seems to be that this baby was born with somewhat defective feet. I was there on a visit. There afterwards came into the home [137], also a visitor. (I doubt if this Mr. Z. is acquainted with Mr. [137]). We both stayed there awhile and when we left the house the conditions outside were - cold weather, snow on the ground - and the sky appeared to be pitch dark, with no stars visible. On the way further we were walking up a very steep hilly block and the dark sky beyond. Suddenly there appeared from out of the dark heavens, large bright stars that seemed to be dropping diagonally like fireworks and disappearing into invisible darkness. I had fear of being struck by one of these stars and so raised my arm, thus covering my head to protect myself. Mr. [137] lowered his arm and comforted me - not to fear, as everything is alright, as it was just boys of the neighborhood throwing snowballs. As soon as we reached the peak of this inclination and landed on even level ground - this vision vanished and soon thereafter I awoke and recalled each scene and action in my mind.” (A) In this there are presented many various phases of the development of the mind of this entity, [551]. For, as is seen, the conditions are as emblematical forces, and are presented in this way or manner, or means, so that, as the impressions are received by the entity, these may be, as it were, experiences for the mentality, or the consciousness of the entity.

The individual, Mr. K, Q, Z, as seen, is as the condition as is presented in the mind, and with this union of strength, with this birth, or the child born with the defective feet, this new connection in which this entity, [551], has made is defective in its pathway in the end. The advice, the counsel, as has been, and as is, given by this entity, [137], is as to protect the entity, and warn the entity, in the way and manner in which this entity is to be guided, or the paths in which the feet of the entity, [551], are to walk. Just as is seen in the leaving, and in the darkness, and in the cold, or as being cast out, and as seeing the stars, or as the attempts of some to do harm, yet the ever shielding advice as is given by the entity is to protect and guide the entity in the way it should go. Then heed same. Take this experience as the lesson, and follow in those channels as has been directed by this entity to the individual, see?
