This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 27th day of November, 1929, in accordance with request made by her mother, Mrs. […], via Mr. [2917] and Mr. [417].

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here. Here would be a body that would be very much more interesting from the experiences in the earth’s plane, rather than the physical.

2. We find, while there may be assistances brought for the physical forces of the body, these will require - even for assistance - that would be of a lasting nature - persistence and great care and attention, for incoordination of this nature and character is builded much in the inmost portions of the entity, and the body-physical, and the body mental and spiritual, or soul body, are things apart.

3. In meeting conditions at the beginning, we would find that the appliance of those elements as may be carried into the system through a very low form of electric or electromagnetic vibration, would bring the greater relief, and were the massage of oil and myrrh to follow over the whole of the cerebro-spinal system, these would materially - if persisted in - aid in this condition.

4. The electromagnetic would have to be such, that a very low form would pass THROUGH the solutions that would be carried into the system. These, in the beginning, we would give, would be those of the Chloride of Gold - giving as medicinal properties, only, that of about 5 grains Bicarbonate of Soda 3 times each day.

5. The electromagnetic may be prepared by Stansell* of Dayton [See [4665] series], who has experimented with some such appliance - see? and this should be given EACH day for at least 20 minutes, APPLYING same to the cerebro-spinal center opposite the solar plexus center, see? The oil rub should follow - equal parts of oil and myrrh.

6. Do that. We are through for the present.

R4. 3/10/32 Mother’s Letter verifying an appointment which had been made by a family friend, Mr. [437]: ”…[5532] will be at the above address… She is my daughter, and was operated on almost five years ago for an abscess in the brain. This has left her entire right side paralyzed, due to the draining of tissue. My doctors say this nerve tissue has been destroyed, thus causing her to always be paralyzed. Could she become better? If so, how? Will she ever have any more trouble of this kind?
