This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 13th day of January, 1930, in accordance with request made by mother and those in charge.

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [559]. This we have had before. Now, we find - while conditions are improved in many respects from that as we have had at times before, there is the tendency of the reactions in the system as cause those of the gnawing, and of the reaction through the intestinal tract.

2. We would use minute quantities of vermifuge, with those of the relaxing as will INCREASE the amount of the juices, or the serums, in the alimentary canal. Not too much of an ACID forming, nor would we add those of the mercury forming [calomel?] - but rather those as created by that from the AMBROSIA weed (Compound these together) [ragweed? as in Simmons’ Liver Regulator?]. Minute quantities - sufficient for activity, to be sure. This will RELIEVE this distress. Because it excites the alimentary canal, and may produce nervousness for a day - or two days - this should not excite the watchers of the body. We would KEEP up the manipulations, but we would not OVERTAX the system by the lights - until this may be done much easier. Rather to sit in the room for two or three hours than to tax the body twenty minutes, that it is worrying all the time. Then, use the ultra violet ray ROOM, or sunlight room - see? Ready for questions.

3. (Q) Have all the worms passed? (A) Why such a question, when it has just been telling you to give that which is to remove them!

4. (Q) Should prescription and thyroid be continued? (A) Discontinue thyroid while that of the emit, or the active force of the alimentary canal is being used. Discontinue same, then, for the time being - until there may be other information given. Then, when this IS - there may be given that as will be NECESSARY for the meeting of conditions.

Let the manipulations be over the abdominal regions, as well as from the sympathetic AND cerebro-spinal centers - along the spine - see?

5. (Q) What kind of milk is best at this time? (A) GOAT’S milk would be the BEST, at this time!

6. (Q) What should be the dosage of the ambrosia weed and the vermifuge? (A) This should be given under the direction of a competent physician, that understands such! for the vermifuge is an active force, as is seen, with the smaller - upper portion of the smaller intestines; as is also the active forces of the ambrosia weed with these. As is given, SMALL QUANTITIES - MINUTE quantities - see?
