This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 17th day of February, 1930, in accordance with request made by her mother, Mrs. [267].

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here. Here we find a recurrent reaction in the system of distresses, produced by that condition as has existed in the system through the reaction of assimilation; for when the system had attempted to adjust itself to those conditions as brought distresses, an over feeding or over reaction in the system has brought about results that become unsatisfactory. Then, we would return to those of that as has been given for correction forces, or we may ALTER somewhat those of the medicinal properties as may be given. Under the direction of a competent physician, then, give those of small doses of Ipecac, (Dover’s Powders), and of a stimuli as a carrier that will clarify the system; NOT as to cause nausea and vomiting, but so direct the diet, and with those manipulations. Relieve the heat for a time, unless these be applied artificially in the home.

2. (Q) Have all the worms passed? (A) More of the reaction from the system adjusting itself, and to over dieting or over eating, than any other.

3. (Q) Have the directions all been properly carried out? (A) They should answer that within themselves!

4. (Q) Is it wise for her to have her massage when she cries so hard? (A) Is it wise to take a splinter out when causing infection!

5. (Q) What makes her face, while asleep, look so drawn, with such dark circles about the eyes? (A) Those contractions as come from those conditions in the stomach, the bloating in the intestines, and the tendency for the NON-conformity to the REPLENISHING forces causes this contraction from the facial, and also the stimuli to the kidneys.

6. (Q) Is her nervous system permanently impaired? (A) Let it remain as it is at present and it WILL be! We are TRYING to correct the conditions, both through the activities of the medicinal properties and of the manipulations and heat! Do it, or let it be permanently impaired - and suffer for it for the rest of her period! We are through with this reading.
