This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 26th day of May, 1930, in accordance with request made by her mother, Mrs. [267].

[Edgar Cayce; Mrs. Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. Mrs. [267] and friend, and Dr. Lydic.]

Time of Reading 4:15 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, Va. (Physical Suggestion)

  1. EC: yes, we have the body here - this we have had before, [559]. Now we find the GENERAL conditions of the body much improved from that we have had. While there has been some acute condition arising from upsetting of the digestive system, this - we find - with the proper eliminations set up, proper drainages again re-established, would be relieved and removed from the system. This we would do much in the same way and manner as has been outlined for this. Ready for questions.

  2. (Q) Is heart action normal? (A) At times, unless there is an upsetting of the nerve system.

  3. (Q) Is circulation normal? (A) At times PERFECTLY normal. At others abnormal.

  4. (Q) Should present prescription be continued? (A) Continued for the present - but FIRST we would increase these eliminations from the system.

  5. (Q) How can her extremely nervous tension at bedtime be relaxed so she can go to sleep without taking her riding? (A) Taking her riding doesn’t hurt her! Just takes time! To relax the body, this may be found by a good hot bath before retiring. Now, ride or bath - either one!

  6. (Q) Is diet correct? (A) Diet is very good. There has been some condition given that has upset the system.

  7. (Q) Would you advise any medication to increase the eliminations? (A) That of the Petrolagar, or of Syrup of Figs.

  8. (Q) What in the diet recently has caused the disturbance in the digestive system? (A) There has been some food taken that has not agreed with the body, in the quantity. Some of those NOT given [or suggested] in the diet.

  9. That is all the questions.

  10. We are through with this reading.
