This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 6th day of October, 1927, in accordance with request made by self - Mr. [5648].

Time of Reading 4:40 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, Florida.

1. GC: You will give a physical, mental and financial reading for this body, answering the questions which I shall ask you regarding same.

2. EC: We have the body here and those relations as surround the body relative to the physical, mental and financial conditions.

3. In the physical we find the body somewhat improved. Not entirely free from those conditions that cause disturbances through the physical forces of the body, for we have not applied those vibrations as have been given for the body - that of the Radio-Active Appliance. This should be applied in the way and manner as has been given, for this will bring the better coordination, and the active forces of the system will respond through this vibration.

4. We should keep the eliminations somewhat above the normal, for the tendency as is seen with the body is the sluggishness of the liver by not sufficient active forces to make a free capillary circulation. Keep in the air more. Keep more exercises for the physical forces of the body. Do not worry. Keep those vibrations for the body as has been given for at least thirty to sixty days.

5. As to the mental forces, we find these show some improvements.

6. As to the financial, these as seen have not as yet acted fully on those conditions as has been given for the body. We would make those corrections through those channels, or either of those channels as has been outlined, OR the body may make those connections with the Cuban Sugar Company as overseer, or as supervisor in their fields. These would be made through the channels of the company here in Havana, see? These may be reached through those channels that the body, the mental forces of the body, acted on in the first association with same. Ready for questions. Dear Mr. Cayce:-

Thank you for the reading and the personal note. Yes, the proper connection looms up large now, it’s hard to think right without a “job” isn’t it. And the balance of the cash slipping away and the next meal not in sight. I notice the reading was begun as late as 4:40 and I was ready from 2:30 each time. I don’t remember how soon after 5:00 I left. Could it be the reason the reading ended.

There is no firm style “Cuban Sugar Co.”, however, I was employed as Auditor with the Cuban American Sugar Co. at Chaparra.

I wonder if I am to interpret as good as an association with this last lead as those of the first reading.

Some of my associations of Miami were very unfortunate.

It was strange to be referred again to the “Cuban American” as I had been working on them and waiting in hopes for many months and just received advice not to count on them. So, aside from the leads given the first reading I had written many other sugar companies and had in mind to write others.

While you were in Miami you had many readings relative to oil lands and particularly Miami Oil and Natural Gas well. I was and still am interested in this well and other lands this side of same. I wonder could you give me the contents of these readings relative to oil, lands, etc.

I have written Mr. Brown. I trust I can finance the apparatus.

Dear Mr. [5648]

Replying to yours of the 11th, I am very sure that the reference in the reading to Cuban Sugar must be the Cuban American Sugar. At least I would follow it out along this line I think, were I in your place.

Yes, I have given many readings relative to oil lands in Florida. Any that were given respecting an individual operation, of course I’m not at liberty to give such information to those other than ones asking for the reading

• as much as I might like to do so. Through the readings it has long been the contention that Dade County, Florida [[5741] series], would be a wonderful oil field. This lies principally along the western portion of the county, and while is a pool a considerable extent, the greater part - according to information in readings - would be found in Dade County, but hardly as high up as some of the operations have been - a little farther south and a little way toward the east. I am expecting some day for there to be a great oil field opened up in that part of the country.

Thank you very much for your letter, and I feel sure you will hear from Mr. Brown real soon, and I know there’ll be no trouble in your financing the apparatus.

Dear Mr. Cayce:-

Would you be so good as to give me another reading. No doubt I have made progress physically, but I haven’t got any where toward employment.

I would suggest, then, that you check up on the body betterment and my efforts to locate employment.

May I suggest that you give this reading as early in the afternoon as possible, if in the two to five period, or if at another time as early in the period set as convenient to you. I shall be on time. At the same address, … Street, … Apts, Apt 22, …, Fla.

Please give me the earliest time convenient to you, wiring me the date so that I may have it in time.

R4. 1/28/28 Letter:

Dear Mr. Cayce:- I have to thank you for your note, and am sorry to say I am making no progress that I can see.

I know that I have integrity and I believe I have talent and ability in my line as auditor and extended on to comptroller or office manager, or business agent. There must be a place if we can see it. And, if I can make the right contact.

It would seem that your seeing eye would be helpful to me or cases of that kind.

I would suggest the following questions.

Have I reached proper authority in the various connections outlined? What agencies could be employed to locate proper connections? What things can be done to better my material welfare in Sections 13, 14, 23 T54S R36E and what wealth do they enfold? How can I strengthen the promptings of the subjective or subconscious mind?
