This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 17th day of February, 1930, at the end of five other check-up readings by EC.

[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno.]

Time of Reading 12:20 P. M. Eastern Standard Time.

  1. (Q) GC: We are unable to obtain the fish oil from Eimer & Amend or Pinnick [S. B. Penick]. Where may this be obtained? (A) EC: Hudnut’s. Or Dayton, or from where it is manufactured or where it is MINED from the first ingredients, and where BARRELS may be obtained, if chosen!

  2. That is all the questions.

  3. We will find the place here for you. Llano - near Llano, Texas. See, it is known as Ichthyol, not just fish oil. It’s fish oil when you get it out, and Ichthyol when they put it together, see?

  4. (Q) Can Icthyol be used in place of fish oil? (A) It IS fish oil! Ichthyol IS fish oil!

  5. (Q) What percent? (A) Must be thin, to be sure. So that it may be used as the application for the secretions and for the activities with secretions in the system. Being, as it has been often - and always, or long recognized, as the best disinfectant for the mucus tissue or membranes of any portions of the system. Mono-hydrated is, of course, more effective - but very severe in some portions. Just the plain Ichthyol (and NOT Ichthyolate) used in THIS as is being sought for, would be better for the application to THIS portion of the mucus membrane tissue. Reduced to at least ten to twenty percent, see?

  6. GC: That is all.

  7. We are through for the present.
