This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at the home of Mrs. Kate B. Smith, Route 2, Box 20, Hopkinsville, Ky., this 13th day of November, 1935, in accordance with request made by the self - Miss [569], Active Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

Time of Reading 12:30 to 12:40 Noon - Central Standard Time. …, Ky. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [569]; this we have had before.

2. Many changes, many disturbances, for good and bad, have continued in the activities through the forces since last we had this here.

3. In many respects conditions are much improved, especially as to those concerning the poisons and the toxic forces that arise from disturbing conditions that become contributory causes to the tendencies that have long existed in the body itself.

4. As we find, the Radio-Active Appliance would be one of the most STIMULATING influences for this body, if it would take the time to use it. But if it’s done haphazardly it will do no good at all!

5. Those conditions that have been effective from the teeth, the gums and the circulation through these portions, are much bettered.

6. We would not undertake any more of removal of any, but rather have the care of same with properties that stimulate the circulation and at the same time add to the activities of the glands of the mouth and of the throat, that keep an equal balance. These we may find, as we consider here, best combined in what is called Ipsab - if it is used properly. We would use same not upon cotton, for this body, but upon the finger use it and massage; not only the gums where the teeth are but where they are not! And we will find that the stimulation to the activities of the throat itself, to the salivary glands, to even the tonsil area, will be materially aided by the activity of the combination of the calcium with the iodine in same, as well as the antiseptics that arise from the vegetable forces in same as combined with sodium chloride.

7. In those conditions for the eyes, here - as we find - these are causing, and will continually cause trouble, unless there is a general building up of the health. The electrical forces from the Radio-Active Appliance will be beneficial. The attachments should be made on the opposite poles, or right wrist and left ankle, left wrist and right ankle, for an hour each day. But be STILL during the whole hour. Don’t be thinking about something else. Go to sleep, or pray, during the whole time.

8. Also, to stimulate the whole circulation, we would use the violet ray; not the bulb applicator but just the electricity from holding the anode for three minutes once a day, when ready for retiring. Once in the right hand, the next time in the left hand, the next in the left foot, the next in the right foot, etc. This will be found to be most beneficial.

9. Keep towards an ALKALINE DIET!

10. Use the compound yeast as an eliminant; this will be helpful for THIS body at times.

12. (Q) What causes, and what should be done for, the condition in my ear? (A) The massaging of the gums will be as much good as anything else! especially if the gums are massaged where there aren’t any teeth! For here we come in close contact with the Eustachian tubes, and it is a form of prolapsus that occurs from the tendency of the accumulations that have been existent in the system heretofore. Take time for the massaging of the gums and the roof of the mouth, and it will help the ears more than all the instruments you may put in same!

13. (Q) Will the gums be through shrinking by Christmas, so that I can have more teeth made? (A) If you’ll use these things as indicated, yes! and they won’t shrink so much more either!

14. (Q) Are the glasses I now have correct for the eyes? (A) Correct for the present.

Do this, as we find, and we will bring the greater activities through the general health as well as the specific conditions.

When yeast is taken, take it for two to three days, and then don’t take it for a week or a month. And when taken again, take it regularly two or three days - and that means two to three times a day!

For this creates in the intestinal system an absorption that, for this particular body, will be helpful at this time. But don’t use yeast after it has gotten old! Buy six to nine squares at a time and use them all, and what you don’t use throw away! But use it!

”…I am still having trouble with my ears - they are both as tight as a drum tonight. I am still taking treatment from Dr. Beazley [Hugh C. Beazley, M.D.], as the condition is such that what I am doing is not helping them but really seems to make them worse. I have had to stop the electric treatment (holding the anode in my hands and feet as you said in my Reading) - it seems to stop my ears as tight as a drum, not a sound can I hear. I have been taking the Radio-Active Appliance an hour daily - that seems to help some… Dr. Beazley said he was going to do all he could to restore my hearing… I am almost crazy with head noises…my eyes, too, have been and still are in dreadful shape…please give me another Reading…” [She submitted questions.]
