This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 322 Grafton Avenue, Dayton, Ohio, this 8th day of June, 1925, in accordance with request made by self - Miss [569].

1. GC: You will give us the physical conditions of this body at the present time, with suggestions for the further improvement of same, and you will answer the questions relative to this body that I will ask you.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here. We have had this before, and we find the general physical condition bettered in the system. With the relaxing of the nerve systems and the tendency towards better eliminations, and with the strain removed from these impinioned forces and centers, we find the body is showing the improvement. While we have the effects of retraction in the system, as is shown occasionally through the reaction or refractory action in nerve centers, as is seen in shoulder, hand, eyes and in the lower portions of the trunk part of body, and the tendency toward the overactivity of kidneys, this we find may be expected; yet we should have those properties for the system as has been given, that the eliminations and incentives throughout the system may respond together in the correction for the body, for with the retraction, the overtaxing of any given point by strain, either physical, mental or nervous, may break cell tissue and produce the inability of eliminating properly. Hence the change as was given in the manipulation, local treatment in eyes, ears, nose and throat, and the application of the Radium forces in body. Do that, and we will bring the better conditions for this body.

3. (Q) Are the osteopathic treatments [by James E. Oldham, D.O.] being accorded the body properly? (A) Very good. As we have given, these are assisting the body to eliminate properly, producing the condition in the liver and in the emunctory forces as necessary. Hence, with retraction, the overstimulation as comes to lower hepatics and through kidneys. This is retraction, not a condition to be worried over, were the whole conditions carried out as given. Hence the necessity of all working together in the system, with eliminations and incentives for the correct equilibrium to be established in the whole rebuilding and eliminating or destroying system.

4. (Q) The local treatment for the eyes [by Dr. Hugh C. Beazley] should be given at the same time that the osteopathic treatment is being taken? (A) Not given at the same moment, but during the same time. Being given, that the incentive for eliminations may be carried thoroughly through the system. This is for local conditions that are produced. The other is the general stimulation. These should be carried on.

5. (Q) Should the Radium Applicator be worn now while these treatments are being given? (A) Should be worn now, for the application of these in the system are as this: All life in the physical body is of the unit force, and the radium applicator equalizes that life-giving, and the necessary destroying unit of used forces in the body, necessary to keep the equilibrium in the system, and the forces as are set in motion by the manipulation and by the correct flow of nerve and blood system must have that energy necessary to rebuild and destroy in the system and be eliminated properly. Hence the necessity of all these forces working together in this body. Do that.
