This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 16th day of July, 1926, in accordance with request made by Mr. [4825] and Mr. [287], involuntary.

Township 54, Section 19 Time of Reading West, in Dade Co., 4:40 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, Fla.

1. EC: Now, as regarding those conditions and operations on Section 19, Township 54, West, in Dade County, Florida, there are portions of this same land as we have had here before.

2. In that location in which the operations are being prepared for work we will find small quantities of oil, ranging in depths from the nine seventy-five (975) to eighteen seventy-five (1875), the larger pool.

3. The formation as is seen in this district lies the greater pool in Section 19, East, Township 53, see? for in the crescent shape pool as is in this district, this operation as begun only takes a portion, yet would prove the successful operation were this drilled to this depth.

4. Be careful in the operation that the producing areas are not passed, for with the muck as will be seen, the rotary tools necessary, and in the cap rock there will be found a shallow rock, and easy to mud up and pass the production in the first strata; not so easy in the second, when the larger production would be found. The upper strata producing varying from twenty-two hundred (2200) barrel production per day. The low strata being much larger, but of a lower gravity oil.

5. In the eastern Township 53, you see, Section 19, larger quantities - very large quantities - will be found, around eleven to eighteen hundred (1100 to 1800) foot depths.

My dear Mr. Cayce:

I was over at Miami this week as I presume you are aware by the telegrams sent you and I did want to hear from you before I left there, but just had to be here today and therefore had to leave there at 3 o’clock yesterday.

Now, Edgar, I am at the point where I can build up a wonderful business for you at Miami, if you could only take care of it promptly. This Mr. [2671] and [943] are the firm that I told you once about and Mr. [2671] is a very wealthy man, quoted to be worth Seventy million and a mighty fine chap.

Now, I believe I told you with reference to Biminia Island some time ago. Mr. [2671] owns the major part of the island, some twelve thousand acres, however, as yet most of this island, the deeds are made to my brother-in-law, Mr. [4825], however, I don’t believe that will make any difference so far as your work is concerned. Now what I want to explain to you is that the Pirates, about a hundred years ago and probably longer, buried large amounts of money on this island during times when they were in war and much of this is still there on the island and we know that you can locate that money and I told Mr. [2671], from my experience with you and from what I know that you have done along those lines, that if the money has been buried there as presumes, you can find it.

First, we want to get the oil reading. Mr. [2671] is not in very good health himself. He wants you later to tell what his trouble is and others there in his office want your advice. So be as punctual as possible with the work for those people and when we once get it started there will be no end to it and especially so if you are successful on the island and you will be well paid for all you do. The oil reading, they will send you a check for $50.00 for that and the Biminia Island stuff will pay for the reading and too let you in on whatever you may find. Wish you would send me copies of the readings as at this time I can’t be over there all of the time.

Write me as soon as you get this letter and I will drive the same as hard as I can for you, for I know that you can do the work.

B2. 6/30/26 Mr. [4825]‘s ltr. to Mr. [287]: “Mr. [2671] has 32,000 acres of land upon which a drilling outfit is now erected and they expect to start their operations next week and I would like very much to secure a log of this well through Cayce. Knowing that Cayce is devoting most of his time to the medical needs I thought possibly through you that we could make arrangements for him to give us this reading.”

B3. 7/6/26 Mr. [287]‘s ltr.: “[2671] and [943] are very wealthy people in Miami and [4825] is my brother-in-law…the one that I told you was developing Bimini Island. Do your best to get this reading in at the earliest possible moment after they wire you.”

B4. 7/9/26 EC’s letter to Mr. [287] mentions that [287] had been in Va. Beach. Evidently he left the necessary data for obtaining the reading.
