This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 16th day of July, 1926, in accordance with request made by Mr. M. B. Wyrick.

Time of Reading 4:30 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. Bosque County, Texas.

1. GC: You will tell us the condition of operations at the present time, and give us any information that will assist and insure the success of these operations, and will answer any questions regarding same I may ask you.

2. EC: Yes, these we have had here before.

3. Now, as has been given, this setting of the casing, the condition as regarding same is being handled in the only feasible way and manner, raising same and running the tools through same to indicate the various changes as are necessary for the condition. That is, RAISE casing, see, for the correct amount of the length to allow the projection that pushes the casing out of line, to become so settled as to prevent this unlining, or unplumbing of the casing, see?

4. With the correction of this we will find we may bring in this in a very short time, for the drilling as is necessary after this is cleansed will not be but little, see?

5. (Q) Why were they unable to get tools on bottom so they - (A) (Interrupting) Just as has been given. When an opening is out of line in thirty feet, forty feet that’s straight will not pass through a crook, see?

6. (Q) Is there anything of which they should be warned? (A) That as has been given.

7. That is all the questions.

My dear Cayce:-

I received the reading you sent to Morgan and you certainly seem to be talking about conditions in that well, but for some reason we continue to encounter unforeseen difficulties which cause delay and increase expense to the extent that I sometimes fear will not be successful in financing to the finish.

When we ran the 4 1/2 inch casing the first and second joints on the bottom buckled so that we could not run the tools thru. We then pulled the casing and left the bottom joint in the hole. Exploring with the tools show that the joint has fallen over in the cave place along with the lost bailer. Judging from the manner in which the casing is bent and the collars bursted, the depth of the cave must be about 45 feet, as the two lengths of casing are 22 feet and a fraction each.

The third joint was not bent any but the bottom collar pulled considerably out of shape. The reason for the casing buckling was due to the large opening where there was no support on the side to stop the casing from bending out under the combined weight of the 5955 feet which we had in the hole.

We are now planning to rerun the casing, holding it suspended some few feet off the bottom and then fill in with concrete, mixed with a liquid known as Conset, this, I suppose, to insure setting at the extreme depth and under the extreme heat which it will be subject to.

I wish you would try to get all the information you can on this process and advise if it is practical and if by cementing we will be able to drill thru in line with and enter the hole that we had drilled to a depth of 6100 feet in the lime, thereby saving time and expense to drill a new hole in the lime.

Is the lost bailer standing straight in side of hole? How does the lost length of casing lay in hole? How big in diameter and depth is the caved section below 5900 feet?
