GC: You will tell us the condition of operations at the present time, telling us if the casing is properly set, so as to shut off lost bailer, water and cavings, and any other information that will insure the success of this well.

EC: Yes, we have had this here before. The casing is so set that the cavings and the greater trouble of the lost bailer or pump is shut off. The water is not entirely shut off. That necessary is to keep the casing in the manner as given, so that with the cleansing same may be lowered again for a short distance. Then there will be no trouble in drilling into production. Do that.

R2. 7/15/26 EC’s letter: Sorry I couldn’t get the well reading as early as I would have liked, but I realize it’s a very precarious time and got the reading just as soon as we could. We had just phoned it in when the last wire came. You know we are all very anxious, so let us hear as often as is possible.
I hope everything is going good. I realized that someone else, other than yourself, was sending some of the wires, but that’s alright. You know I am anxious to be of any help I can. Some of them they have sent for though I haven’t heard from. I guess I will, however, in time.
