This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 31st day of August, 1938, in accordance with request made by the mother - Mrs. [635], Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

Time of Reading 4:15 to 4:20 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, Florida.

1. GC: You will give the present physical condition of this body, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions submitted, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes.

3. As we find, the conditions are much better with this body than when we had them here before.

4. There is more vitality, more resistance.

5. Still there is the inclination for nervous reaction, and for periods when the body is overexuberant and periods when it is inclined to be fussy or fretful.

6. These are natural results of the nervous activities of the body.

7. As we find, it would be well for there to be at least one series of thorough osteopathic adjustments. These would be GENERAL treatments, with specific attention to the eliminating centers of the system; that is, the alimentary canal - or the upper dorsal; coordinating specifically the lumbar, 9th dorsal and the cervical centers WITH the upper dorsal adjustments and muscular movements. We would give these about twice a week, and as we find eight to ten should be sufficient.

8. Also we find that the use of Codiron will supply not only the necessary vitamins but iron AND the cod liver extract in such measures and manners as to keep body-building and body- strength. We would take two pellets a day. These may be taken morning and evening, or whatever time is preferable to the body; but they are to be taken WITH the meal, you see. This should supply the vitamin foods necessary, or the inclination - WITH adjustments - for the better assimilation.

9. For the keeping of the body erect, WE would use braces. For there is the inclination for the body to stoop; and it becomes more and more aggravating to the areas needing correction in the lumbar and through the upper dorsals.

10. Wear those braces, then, that will tend to keep the body more erect. Wear same as rather an inclination; not necessarily worn ALWAYS, but until there are adjustments made which will make for the better inclinations in that direction.

11. Ready for questions.

12. (Q) How increase her appetite? (A) Better increase the assimilations than the appetite! But with the use of the Codiron AND the osteopathic adjustments, the assimilation should be aided - and thus better appetite.

Do not eat too MUCH sweets!
