This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 5th day of October, 1942, in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. [635], Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with further suggestions for corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [635].

3. A great many changes have taken place since last we had same here.

4. For the disturbances or acute conditions in the present call for corrective measures, as well as palliative measures.

5. We would use an enema for the disturbance through the sphincter muscular areas, with a combination of oils prepared in this manner:

6. To an ounce of Glycerine add four drops of Carbolic Acid and shake well together. Then add to this four ounces of Usoline and shake well together. This should make sufficient quantity for at least two enemas, but let these be at least three days apart. Use an ear syringe or any force syringe for the injection. This should not only allay but should heal those particles and those areas where there have been and are lacerations.

7. The acute conditions causing a neuralgia of the kidneys call for corrective forces. But as a palliative we would apply heavy salt saturated or wet with turpentine; not too much, but make it damp with same. Apply this across the small of the back and the kidney area. Do this for about an hour or hour and a half at the time, for at least two or three days. These should be kept warm (the packs) but not too hot.

8. We would take Sweet Spirits of Nitre; about ten drops in a glass of water, or by itself.

9. Before the Nitre is taken, however, it would be better to take a small bottle of Fletcher’s Castoria. Take a teaspoonful out of the bottle and throw it away (or you may take it, if so desired), then add to the bottle a teaspoonful of Syrup of Senna. Shake well together, - then take half a teaspoonful every hour until the whole bottle is taken. When this has been taken, and has started to flush the system, take a good dose of Sal Hepatica, - not two teaspoonsful but one heaping teaspoonful, - to flush the system.

10. Then the next day take the Nitre, and it should not require more than one or two doses to correct the condition, - if the packs are kept for the kidney disturbance; and the injection of oils will also have allayed the rectal trouble.

11. Also we would use a Glyco-Thymoline douche (this in a Fountain Syringe); a tablespoonful of Glyco-Thymoline to half a gallon of water, body temperature.

12. Keep the body quiet, and we will find bettered conditions for this body; else we may have complications as may arise also from the external forces in the lower limbs.

13. Ready for questions.

The body has not rested as it should, I am sure. I was mighty sick and in most excruciating pain when I suddenly rushed to the phone and sent that wire. There was no one here but myself.
