This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 28th day of March, 1942, in accordance with request made by the self - Mr. [779], Active Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

Time of Reading 3:55 to 4:00 P. M. Eastern War Time. …, Alabama.

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with further suggestions for corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, [779]; we have the body here - this we have had before.

3. As we find, in many respects conditions are very fair. There are ever those tendencies through the area of the caecum, as well as in the whole colon, for the accumulations that cause heaviness AND a tendency for such accumulations in pockets of the colon to cause areas in the covering - or the area of the folds - to open. This produces in this area and in the scrotum those pressures at times in the prostates, causing heaviness, uneasiness, languidness, or a feeling of a little bit of nausea at times.

4. Here, too, we find that a most excellent cleansing would be well through the use of the Tyrrell’s elevator; the cleansing of the colon, you see. Use either a colon tube, then, or the elevator methods, to purify or cleanse the colon, - at least every ten days.

5. This purifying, and then keeping a well balanced diet and a balance in the activities, should bring about a much bettered condition.

6. For the colonic irrigation, put a heaping teaspoonful of table salt and a level teaspoonful of baking soda to each quart and a half of water injected, and use at least a gallon or gallon and a half at the time - but have the water body temperature. Not necessary that the container should be this large, but fill the container the second or third time, to have such a quantity.

7. In the last water put a tablespoonful of Glyco-Thymoline to the quart of water; this body temperature also.

8. These will prevent a drain, or the weakening of the system, and will help to remove the poisons and keep the colon clear; removing these tendencies from the body.

10. (Q) Any organic or gland condition? (A) Only sympathetic conditions in the prostate glands, showing some tendencies for irritation by what may be termed the protuberances or pressures in colon causing pressure in the scrotum area, see?

11. (Q) How is heart and blood pressure? (A) This is very good considering the age and the activities of the body. These colonic irrigations will help in keeping the body clearer.

12. (Q) Why the swelling and tightness of fingers at times? (A) Pressures from colon to the areas in the locomotories of the body. The cleansing of the colon will aid in taking away this condition.

R1. 4/28/42 “Cayce, we were so very much pleased with the readings (780-11 & 779-27) and to know that we both are in pretty good shape and only require proper diet and an open system. I had looked over many physical and health magazines to see if I could find what the Tyrrell’s method of the elevator cleansing was, but never did find anything about it

• and was going to ask you if you could give me any data, but yesterday’s mail brought us information and it came direct from Tyrrell’s Hygienic Institute, New York. So I promptly wrote them. I thought it was strange the way the name and address of just what we wanted came and just at a time when we had about given up. I have been trying the regular old way, but did not get the results I thought I should. So thanks to you again.

R2. 8/2/42 “Since using the Tyrrell’s method as given in my last rdg. I am feeling fine and can still do lots of hard work. Yes, my boy, you or anybody else can say what you please about those rdgs., but they do the work right on, and if any failure I rather think it’s the lack of following instructions.”

R3. 12/28/42 He referred his friend, Mr. [3363], for a Physical Rdg.

R4. 8/7/43 “Cayce, in looking over the last time I had a rdg., it has been about one and a half years. At this time I am feeling fine, but as before I like to keep a check on myself and [780], realizing it will be sometime in 1944 before getting one. So, please list Mrs. [780] and me for a rdg. at such a time as you may have an open date.”

R6. 10/13/45 “If you have data from the readings on prostatitis, I would appreciate it so much if you’d send it to me right away. I shall be glad to pay for the getting up of the information… I have not been well for some time now.”

R7. 9/1/47 “Just after writing sometime ago for some information on prostatitis, I happened to be looking through some of my physical readings. In one given 3/28/42 I found the same condition I wrote for. I went right after giving the treatment suggested. So I am glad to report I am doing fine again.”
