This Psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach. Va., this 8th day of May, 1944, in accordance with request made by the self - Mr. [779], Active Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

Time of Reading Set bet. 3:30 to 4:30 P. M. Eastern War Time. …, Alabama.

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time with suggestions for further corrective measures, answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, this is the same place, … Street, [779].

3. We have the body here; this we have had before. There are changes in the physical forces of the body since last we had it here. As we find about the only condition the body has to be warned of here is keeping better eliminations and the colon clean.

4. With the use of the elevator as has been suggested for this body, we would have at least once a month or once every two months, a colonic irrigation, and occasionally the adjustments by a chiropractor or an osteopath or neuropath. Either of these would be well for this body, but let the the adjustments follow with the nerves of the central nervous system especially where they are more in association with the nerves of the sympathetic system; through the areas of the lumbar and sacral, 9th dorsal, brachial plexus and the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th cervicals.

5. In the diet take rather the cleansing foods. Include often raw vegetables such as watercress, lettuce, celery, carrots, chard and all of those that may be eaten raw; mustard greens would be well. These cut up very fine and prepared often with gelatin would be well for this body.

6. The general conditions of the liver, heart, kidneys, as well as the central nerve and blood supply of the body reflexly at times are disturbed, but if eliminations are kept good through the manner as indicated, we will find much better conditions.

8. (Q) Any organic or cancerous or glandular disturbance? (A) Only sympathetic. Do as has been outlined for this body.

R4. 5/25/58 Letter from [318] to GD: ”…Daddy’s [779] health has been failing since last fall when he had a loss of memory for about four hours one afternoon. Since last December he has had to go to the hospital three times, the third time being on 1 May. He is suffering from Bright’s disease, high blood pressure, and a heart condition. Are there any extracts available on the named conditions? If so, I would appreciate it if you would send the information immediately to Daddy in …, Route …, Box … Such information from the Readings may be of some benefit to him at this time. I would also appreciate it if you would have Daddy’s name placed on the Norfolk Prayer Group list, also the name of my sister [4176], and her husband […] who had a second throat operation last February - no malignancy was found…”

R5. 6/13/58 “I sure wanted to attend the Congress this year but due to my bad health I am afraid to take the trip, alone. I have been in and out of the hospital quite often in recent months.”

R6. 9/6/61 Mr. [779] wired us of his son [318]‘s death.

R7. 5/25/65 GD’s note: Mr. [779] is still on our mailing list. He lives with his son [781] and family. Son [781] wrote on 10/24/62: “Dad has been doing real well lately.”

B2. 2/13/44 “Yes, I am doing fairly well after the flu… My old neck has been pretty stiff for about 10 days - last wk. I got Dr. Nona Grapes to do a little work on it, and yesterday I stopped by and had Dr. Rust, Jr. to shake my neck some. He is the chiropractor who bought out Dr. Thompson, a young man with about 18 mos. or 2 yrs. practice.”
