This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at the David E. Kahn home, 44 West 77th St., Apt. 14-W, New York City, this 30th day of March, 1935, in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. [799], Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

[Edgar Cayce; Hugh Lynn Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. Mrs. [799] and others.]

Time of Reading 3:25 to 3:35 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City. (Physical Suggestion)

  1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [799]; this we have had before.

  2. As we find, there is little change for the better from what would nominally be.

  3. We would adhere to those suggestions that have been given, in the manner as would make for the coordinating of the system such as to correct those centers or ganglia as indicated, from which there is the radial activity through the nerve forces of the body and the regular circulation, as to bring to all portions of the system an equalized circulation. Also the relieving of the pressures would allow the body, through that assimilated and the strength as maintained from the distributions of same in the system, to replenish and rebuild. We would do that.

  4. Then, take the manipulations as indicated; not just the massage but the radial activity from ganglia along the cerebrospinal system, as from the 9th dorsal plexus, the 3rd and 5th cervical plexus, from the 4th lumbar, osteopathically. And coordinate these with the axis, of course, in the 1st and 2nd cervical.

  5. And, be mindful that the diet is kept in an alkalin-reactory condition.

  6. Ready for questions.

  7. (Q) Why does my abdomen swell and become acutely tender and sore following colonic irrigation? (A) There should be those manipulations and stimulations so that from the 9th dorsal (which stimulates for the gastric flow of the lymph and the emunctory circulation through the system) there would be the drainage from the system rather than backward. So, if these are taken first - the manipulations, now - we would find a different reaction; though we would take several of the manipulations before undertaking any eliminations through the enema.

  8. (Q) Please explain the condition with the eyes. (A) The reflex activity from the cervical forces that make for disturbance to the sympathetic circulation; which DRAWS, as it were, the optic forces through the sensory or sympathetic circulation. These especially will receive a great deal of aid and help through such manipulations.

  9. (Q) What is the feeling of rigidity or tightness in head? (A) Poor circulation. Stimulate those centers as indicated, as will be seen by any operator making the applications - these are to stimulate not only the internal but the superficial circulation. It is the SYMPATHETIC nervous system and the superficial circulation that makes for a tendency of the nerve reactions to the outer portions of the body, or that makes for drawing of the skin over portions of the head; or as the eyes pulling backward; and across the abdomen - as of cords about same.

  10. (Q) Is there any trouble with the bone? (A) We don’t find any trouble with any bone in the system, save those where it’s pulled in the circulation, as makes for the creating of the blood supply or the STRAIN on same.

  11. (Q) What is the condition caused in the nose? (A) Sympathetic

  12. (Q) Is there any enlargement of the head? (A) We do not find it so. Enlargement or engorgement in the circulation through soft tissue in the antrum and in the facial portions of the body, but not enlargement of the head or the frontal bones.

Do these things, as we find; and we will bring the better conditions for this body.

  1. We are through with this reading.
