HLC: You will answer the questions, as I ask them:
-
EC: Ready for questions.
-
(Q) What is causing, and what should be done for, the severe muscular pains. (A) Take the exercises, as has been indicated!
-
(Q) Is there any other suggestion for the body at this time? (A) We would do that as last outlined; it hasn’t been done as yet!
-
(Q) Any suggestions regarding diet for the body at this time? (A) Rather the suggestions would be to keep the eliminations in proper order. For, the assimilations are fair; but the eliminations are not so well, and poisons accumulate from drosses in the system.
Use more of the enemas with the salines in same; and the sweats would be very well for the body in the present.
-
(Q) What kind of sweats? (A) In hot water, with the salts in same!
-
(Q) How often should they be taken? (A) Until we remove the muscular forces and the exercises are begun!
-
We are through with with Reading.

R1. 1/30/41 EC’s ltr. to Mrs. [903]: “Was a blessing that when Gertrude was first taken ill [1102] was here with [849], as the maid was ill also, but [1102] certainly made herself indispensable around here. Don’t know what we would have done without her.”
R2. 2/6/41 EC’s ltr. to Mrs. [264]: “Think [849] will come along better now. Have gotten his exerciser in shape again now and that will help him get strength and better use of himself physically. In the face he looks better than he has in years - if he can but get the use of his limbs now.”
