This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 3rd day of July, 1941, in accordance with request made by the self - Mr. [849], Active Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. Hugh Lynn Cayce, Mrs. Eggleston and friend.]

Time of Reading 11:15 to 11:25 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. In this house.

  1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures, answering the questions, as I ask them:

  2. EC: Yes, we have the body, [849]; this we have had before.

  3. As we find, there continues to be improvements in the general conditions of the body.

  4. In the present there needs to be those applications for breaking up more and more the areas where the static conditions have been set up, by the lack of proper circulation and the inability for assimilation - or for the nerve ends to carry stimulations for the proper development in portions of the lower limbs, the knees, the feet, and through the hips of the body.

  5. More of the mechanical (osteopathic) adjustments should be made, especially in the lumbar and sacral area; with more and more the attempt to straighten or to stretch the limbs.

  6. Then keep up the excess eliminations. For, bodily functionings in the organs are improved.

  7. The sea dip and sand packs at least once to four times each week would be well. These without the proper osteopathic adjustments, however, would not be well.

  8. There should be an increase in the number of the osteopathic treatments, and these should be given deeper.

  9. As there is the heat and the radial activity from the vibrations of the sand, have deeper manipulations and corrections in the cervical, - as to straighten the neck and the back.

  10. At least three times each week the adjustments should be made, - more at times when there is some irritation. It will require some strength and stability on the part of the body [849], but if he desires to use the limbs don’t let these pass and become static - as the conditions are now breaking up!

  11. Continue the packs before each osteopathic treatment, to be sure, - we wouldn’t change these; we have just changed the numbers to be given!

  12. Keep up the Appliance carrying the Gold. Keep it recharged properly. Keep the anodes clean. Occasionally make an attachment to the under-portion of the knee, to the sole of the foot occasionally; most often in the regular order, but once or twice a week change in this manner - that’s the anode NOT carrying the solution, see?

  13. Continue the oil rubs, getting deeper and deeper with them.

  14. At least every other day give three to six drops of the Wheat Germ Oil.

  15. Calcios is also needed in the circulation; not so often, but sufficient to aid in the nerve building. About once a week should be sufficient; unless there are at least four of the osteopathic treatments and two or three of the sand packs, - then give an extra dose.

  16. We would leave off the Adiron in the present.

  17. Do that.

  18. Ready for questions.

  19. (Q) Are we correct in assuming that the massage methods suggested by H. J. Reilly of N.Y. will prove helpful? (A) Will prove helpful if they are given properly, but there MUST be the osteopathic adjustments, else these would only irritate and produce static conditions.

  20. (Q) Any suggestions for the exercises while in the exerciser? (A) Take as much as practical, even to - at least once a week - tiring the body considerably. Do a little bit more each day, and then at least once a week tire the body very thoroughly.

  21. (Q) Any other suggestions for this body? (A) Take advantage of the improvements now, or be sorry later on!

  22. We are through with this Reading.
