This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 18th day of April, 1941, in accordance with request made by the self - Mr. [849], Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. Hugh Lynn Cayce.]

Time of Reading Present in this 3:55 to 4:00 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. house.

  1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:

  2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [849]; this we have had before.

  3. Developments are very good in the general influences of the body, WHEN there is the full application of those suggestions indicated.

  4. As we find, there has been an acute upset in the gastric flow through the lymph of the jejunum and the colon area; produced by toxic conditions being caused by too much of alcohol combined with the body-forces themselves.

  5. Those applications that have been made are very well, yet the condition continues, - owing to not sufficient absorbing of the poisons and the inflamed portions, and the activity of the lymph flow to throw off and eliminate the poisons.

  6. We would combine these:

Rochelle Salts…1 teaspoonful, Spirits of Camphor…10 drops, Spirits of Turpentine (not Oil of Turp but Spirits of Turpentine)…3 drops.

Mix this in a glass of water and take.

  1. Do that.

  2. Of course, this will tend to make a flow, but it will relieve the disturbance.

  3. Then the next day after taking this, take a small dose - half to three-quarters of a teaspoonful - of Milk of Bismuth, and ten drops of Elixir of Lactated Pepsin, stirred in a full glass of water.

  4. Ready for questions.

  5. (Q) Any suggestions regarding the exercise? (A) Take all possible.

  6. (Q) Should anything be done now about stretching the limbs? (A) Let’s get over this immediate trouble and then stretch it more in the exerciser!

  7. We are through for the present.
