This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 322 Grafton Avenue, Dayton, Ohio, this 19th day of March, 1925, in accordance with request made by self - [900].

Time of Reading … Street, 3:40 P. M. Dayton Time. New York City.

1. LS: You will give a physical, financial and mental reading of this body at the present time, considering the terrible mental strain the body is now under, telling definitely what the body should do at the present time.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, and those conditions surrounding same in the mental strain under which the body labors at the present time. Many of the conditions we have had portions of before, some of the conditions existent of which there has been much said.

3. As to that definitely to which the body should adhere at the present time, to make the mental, the spiritual, the physical and financial success desired of, by, the body, first must be considered the physical conditions of the body. These have been given, and that necessary for the body to bring the normal conditions for the system at the present time.

4. In the mental, the body should take cognizance first of self, and rely upon those conditions of the spiritual that lies within self. Not to trust in self’s abilities, but to trust in self’s abilities of seeing, feeling, knowing that, that of the highest, the best, the noblest, the manifestations of the Giver of all good and perfect gifts may manifest through the individual, and only when held in that confidence, that faith necessary to draw to self that of that nature that will bring about the necessary mental, physical and material conditions through which these may be made manifest.

5. As to the financial conditions, because there has and does exist conditions that in part has been unsatisfactory, take count of self, and the entity, the body, the mental forces of the body will realize from what these have arisen. Taking, then, in hand the proposition as have been and are offered through the individuals as has been set, and with these make and bring about the satisfactory conditions for self in a mental, in a physical, in a material way. The body, when taking these conditions into consideration, has little to worry about; because there has been said such things as cause consternation and produces that rise in the mental of the resistive forces against expressions, find not fault, yet humble self to the mandates, the dictates of those higher forces through which there will come the succor, the aid for the individual at the present time.

6. As to the individual instances and conditions, watch well in the next three to seven days. We will find when the body has taken this to self, and presents himself unto that direction, the way, the channel will be shown him. Follow therein. How will this be known then? When the condition presents self to this body, [900], when the entity has laid aside those conditions wherein has been brought about those things that do mentally produce the wrangles in mental forces, the body will find then may come the approach of the Guide to guard, guide and direct the manner, the channel in which the entity may progress.

7. Do not bring condemnation on self through self-condemnation of things said by other individuals [mother, Mrs. [106], in particular?]; keeping in that way wherein will come the best for the body.

8. We are through.

R1. 3/19/25 EC’s reply to Mr. [900] in re mother’s dream rdg. 106-6: “As to what I get from the interpretation of your mother’s dream is that, there is to be a change in your operations of some kind or nature, or perhaps something she is directly interested in, which is indicated by her seeking aid from someone else in regard what she already had in hand. As is given of what occurred in the explosion, this seemed to indicate that there would be something entirely new and foreign to what she had thought or feels would be the right thing at the present time, and that when things are finally settled and going in their proper order, she will very soon see the the reason that the first premise was not correct. That’s what I gather from it.”

R2. 3/21/25 Mr. [900]’ letter: “In reply to your various communications, let me first thank you kindly for the prompt help you have tendered me, and assure you it was a help, and since I am even going to ask for more in another letter, will say nothing more here. Just now I think it better that you have no pre-conceived ideas in the matter, but in a few days I will write you details of everything and it is certainly going to prove interesting to you. I may be wrong in this, however I am struggling hard to find out just exactly what the conditions are. I will continue to try and we will await developments.”
