This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 322 Grafton Avenue, Dayton, Ohio, this 7th day of April, 1925, in accordance with request made by [900].

Time of Reading 11:40 A.M. Dayton Time. New York City.

1. GC: You will have before you, as I read same, the manuscript as prepared by [900], on Psychic Phenomena [Based on [3744] series]. You will make such corrections in same as will be in keeping with the truth of such phenomena as viewed by the Forces of Edgar Cayce while in the Psychic State. I will read a whole page of this, and when I stop you will make the corrections as outlined, and when you have finished with that page you will so state. 3. (Q) Page 20. (A) Instead of “gain that power” acquired that power. The difference in these being, one is as of meted out, the other is as of merited.

4. (Q) Page 21. (A) No corrections, save this might be added, or may not be added. The gift or the gained psychic force may be abused, the same as any of the senses of the physical body, and through abuse of same may bring destructive forces to the individual in the physical and in the spiritual life.

5. (Q) Page 22. (A) We have no corrections to make with this portion.

6. (Q) Page 23. (A) (Interrupting) We are conscious of the action of psychic and spiritual forces in the same manner we are conscious of the action of electrical forces in any manner in the physical world, or as we see, “The wind bloweth where it listeth. Thou heareth the sound thereof though know of from whence it cometh nor whence it goeth.” The electrical vibration of man’s direction we may reach the action, yet no one fathoms the force, the direction of the applied force. All becoming under one law, and are of the law pertaining to psychic force and psychic vibration as are manifested in the material world. We recognize the vibratory forces in electrical forces, and such are weighed, measured, and in those of radio forces we have electrical vibration magnifying the vibrations as are set forth in same. The same we have in spirit or psychic or mind vibration. These are magnified by the action on those in attune with that vibration. (Reading)
