This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 12th day of February, 1929, in accordance with request made by self - Mr. [943].

1. GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of [943], who is present in this room, and who has acquired an interest from C. W. Youngman of New York City in certain land grants from State of Florida given as bonus for construction of railroad from 1897 to 1907 or 1908. Mr. Youngman has been unable to locate contract with his associate, Frank M. Loomis, now deceased, showing that he had an undivided one-half interest in these land grants. The body [943], in this room, would like to secure information as to where these contracts could be located, and proper procedure to obtain same - and all other information that may be given that would assist the body in securing through these parties the interest which he has acquired.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body [943], the enquiring mind of this body - this we have had before.

3. The grants as [943] has obtained interest in are valid. Those papers, contracts, showing the interest are of record in year book 1898 and in 1908 and 1912. The papers that show the interest of Loomis with Youngman are matters of record with the Empire Land, that are among the papers of G. W. Potter - and these, while not necessary, may be obtained from this source. The records, while being of grants given in State lands that at the time were considered of little value, will prove very valuable holdings. Not that the fee simple is of special interest to [943], yet the fee simple is an enormous fortune in itself - but the mineral, gas and oil rights - as are a portion OF the whole - will be found to have been held by the ones giving same. While the government holds a portion of these, they do not supersede the grant given by the State.

6. (Q) Is land available from State that would apply under these grants? (A) These grants apply, even where State has transferred - so far as mineral and oil RIGHTS, especially, are concerned - for these have been kept intact through the grants as given. Hence, as has been seen, and as has been given through these sources, little transferred land from the State to individuals has carried this clause - or where carried, stipulates that is not included.

7. (Q) What County and State is the year book to be found in that was spoken of? (A) Florida. Tampa, Tallahassee.

8. (Q) Where may Potter be found? (A) He’s here! He’s deceased, see? He’s here - he’s talking!

9. (Q) Where should [943] first seek for this information? (A) Tallahassee, Tampa.

10. (Q) Any further information that would assist Mr. [943] in this matter? (A) Follow out all of the leads as has been given. In the DOING does the body gain the better understanding of that required to make ALL valid. We are through.
