This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home in Pinewood on Lake Drive, Va. Beach, Va., this 19th day of May, 1932, in accordance with request made by self - Mr. [949], Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

1. EC: We have the body and those conditions as surround same, [949] - this we have had before.

2. As we find, there is the gradual improvement in the general physical forces of the body. We would not alter a great deal in the present those applications that have been and are being administered for the body. We would keep for the present those vibrations from the Radio-Active Appliance, in the manner that has been given. We would also keep the massage, that makes for an enlivening in the outer portion and causes the reactions in the circulation that will enable the body to gain the use or control of the locomotaries.

3. After at least ten days more of the treatment, we would alter the place of making the application of the Radio-Active forces, by changing the anode that carries the Gold. Attach this first to the body at the 11th and 12th dorsal center, first. Then attach the plain anode first to the right wrist, then to the left wrist. This, as we find, will make for a circulation that will enable the lower portions of the body to become more coordinating with the rest of the system.

5. (Q) I feel that my sensory system, particularly in respect to my eyesight, needs some adjustments. Is this so? (A) When these changes are made - that is, in the applications, see - after ten days - we would begin with the adjustments (osteopathically given) in the upper dorsal and whole of the cervical area, for the eyes; to be sure, treating the head and neck at the same time; and it would be well to use the plain eye applicator (double applicator, though) of the violet ray for two to three minutes following such treatments. These we would take twice a week until fifteen have been taken, at least; that is, the adjustments and the application of the violet ray.

6. (Q) Have all treatments been properly applied? (A) These are very good, as indicated by the changes that have come about and the necessary alterations to make for a changed coordination in the system.

7. (Q) Any further advice for the body at this time? (A) These we would keep as we have outlined.

R1. 8/25/32 “Yesterday, while I was taking the tr., the lead leader which runs through the gold solution broke. I spliced it together for the rest of the hour, but is that satisfactory? Please let me know what to do, and if a new anode is needed forward it at your convenience.

Otherwise everything is fine and my improvement altho gradual is obvious.”

R2. 8/30/32 EC wrote that he had already instructed Mr. Gray Salter of Hopkinsville, Ky., now making the Appliances, to forward to Mr. [949] a new set of leads for the battery.

R3. 11/32 EC was in N.Y. and met [949] for the first time. [See notation under 949-2 Life Rdg. Reports.]

R4. 12/9/36 See EC’s letter under 1198-2 Reports indicating that [949] walks without crutch or cane altho still limping because one limb has not fully developed but is still growing; is able to dance, drive his own car, etc.

R5. 1/14/37 “I am enclosing a ck. for $30 for 2 rdgs., one a ck. rdg. on myself to continue the tr. I discontinued when I went to … (college?) and one for a friend of mine, Mr. [1329].”
