This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 22nd day of June, 1936, in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. [959], Active Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [959]; this we have had before. [Through son [146]‘s case?]

2. As we find in the present, there are those indications of localization of disturbances through adherences in the pelvic organs that have caused a tumor. This is of the nature of the lymph, by adherence of the organs, through taxation of the body, standing on the feet, and the general activities as related to those conditions have brought these about.

3. There are sympathetic conditions as arise with these with the circulation and the pressures as produced there, making for a minor lesion; yet making for disturbances with the circulation to the eyes, the throat.

4. These are the general conditions as we find them in the present. These may lead to other or greater disturbances.

5. As we find there are two measures that may be taken. The operative forces, that would remove these conditions. But as we find these would not of necessity be the only means. While it would require a little longer, we find that these measures would be the more effective - preventing an operation:

6. Occasionally, or once a week, we would use a douche with Atomidine, in the proportions of about a tablespoonful to a quart and a half of water.

7. Then following same we would use the violet ray with the vaginal appliance, for three to five minutes.

8. Also we would have corrective measures in the lumbar and the dorsal area, as well as coordinating these with the upper cervicals as to the eyes. We would have these osteopathically made, about once or twice a week.

9. This latter method as we find, while requiring a little more time, would alleviate these disturbances without necessitating an operation and the encumbrant conditions that arise from the subjugating of the whole nervous system through the measures necessary for such operative forces.

10. These applications also would, as we find, make for corrections in these manners of other minor disturbances that arise in the system.

12. (Q) What causes unexpected menstrual flow between periods? (A) The pressure as produced by the lesion as well as the general changes coming for the forces in the body.

13. (Q) Is the tumor growing rapidly? (A) Not so rapidly as we find that it would not respond to those conditions that have been indicated for corrective measures.

14. (Q) Is it malignant? (A) Only would it become so by the undue irritation or allowing same to remain so long without corrective measures.

15. (Q) How long should the violet ray be used at a time? (A) As has been given, for three to five minutes.

16. (Q) Once a week following the douche? (A) Once a week following the douche.

17. (Q) Have I any appendix trouble? (A) Only sympathetic conditions as we find there, through the general condition as produced to the organs of the pelvis themselves - or to the right ovary.

18. (Q) What is condition of heart and kidneys? (A) While these show as indicated that there are the general strains, by the removal of the pressures in the lumbar, the upper dorsal and through the cervical area by the manipulative forces, we would remove these effects.

19. (Q) Any return of thyroid trouble? (A) If there are those cleansings of the system through these manners, these would make for the correct balance so that there would be little or no indications of this return; that is, any clogging or choking of various portions of the system. The organic functioning disturbance, and those to the glandular forces that make for these disturbances. By these corrections and through those activities as indicated, as we find these would be corrected.

R3. 11/19/36 She wrote: “Three weeks ago today (Oct. 28th) I had my operation done and am home again, feeling unusually good. Found conditions pretty much as described in rdg. though worse than doctor’s examination showed. But I am glad it is behind me now and I have a good chance for better health than ever.”

R4. 2/20/40 She reported on 1170-3 for her husband, saying: “We are all so thankful for the help we have received from our rdgs.”

R5. 4/29/40 Replying to questionnaire she wrote:

“Yes, the rdg. did cover the condition. All descriptions of symptoms were exact. The physician’s analysis was: Tumor of uterus. I had the operation. It has resulted in perfect health if there is any on this earth.”
