GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, giving the cause of same, with suggestions for corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:
-
EC: Yes, we have the body here; this we have had before.
-
As we find, there are acute conditions affecting the kidneys and their activity. These are producing acute pains through the body, as well as those conditions about the gall duct area.
-
We would apply Turpentine Stupes over the kidney area. Use a teaspoonful of Turpentine to a quart of boiling water. Wring out heavy toweling in this and apply; afterward massaging the area thoroughly.
-
Also place hot, heavy flannel, saturated with an equal combination of Turpentine, Mutton Tallow and Spirits of Camphor, over the area lower down in the frontal portion - or that as will aid in draining from the bladder.
-
Use relaxing methods of the neuropathic, osteopathic nature or the like, in the area of the lower end of the spinal column - the coccyx area.
-
These as we find should bring some relief. And keep these up until there IS relief from the acute pain. These we find should aid.
-
Ready for questions.
-
Do these in the present.
-
We are through for the present.

Reports & Follow-up
R1. 11/19 and 11/20/41 Letter from […]: “Mr. [1112] is a very sick man, so I didn’t wait to write, so as to ask questions, but you will know what to ask. The doctor here says it is acute nephritis or Bright’s Disease. Am very much worried, but have faith in what you will tell me to do.”
R2. 11/20/41 Rec. telegram last night at 7:45: “Mr. [1112] has no pain in kidneys, but pain in left side front. Did as directed - relieved him. He didn’t sleep an hour all nite, he is an awfully sick man. Dr. Hamil [J. Y. Hamil, M.D.] found blood, pus, albumin in kidneys and bladder. He is now sleeping, 9 a.m.
“11:00 A.M. Dr. just left - says [1112] is better, but says he was very distressed yesterday. I told him about applying hot packs with turpentine. He told me not to use wet but dry heat, as turpentine would affect his overwrought kidneys - But it did relieve the soreness and pain. With prayers and faith and your suggestions we will get him well again. Am looking for reading tomorrow anyway. I am so thankful he is better.
“Later: [1112] had coughing spell, brot pain in right side front back, so just applied hot turpentine packs again. He says they relieve much better than dry heat. Pray for this husband of mine, won’t you? I feel I am more in Unity with the God within than ever before - have an understanding of Truth. Love to all the family.” Mother [1010]
