This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 322 Grafton Avenue, Dayton, Ohio, this 4th day of October, 1924, in accordance with request made by Mr. [1180].

Time of Reading Wichita County, 11:50 A. M. Dayton Time. Texas.

1. EC: In the holdings as has been outlined by Cecil S. Ringle in Wichita County, Texas, we find that the lands adjacent to the Evans tract, and where there has been placed on iron stake, this would bring small production, five to twenty barrels per day, at four hundred ninety-two (492) feet. Very good, though not exactly in the location as given, only a few feet, however, off to the North and across the little gulley - nine steps.

Mr. Edgar Cayce, Box 463, Dayton, O.

Dear Mr. Cayce:-

Referring to your reading of October 4th, have to advise that we moved the iron stake 310 feet North which made the new location nine steps north of the little gulley. We made the location after studying the reading in connection with the surfice [surface?] of the ground. The telegram which you sent read as follows: “Where stake is set would produce at four ninety two stake is however a few feet north of the location as made nine steps letter following,” which appears to be contradictory to the reading.

Will you please take a reading on the last location made and if correct write us if not also wire us at once, definitely giving correct location.

Our acreage is located between two deep tests soon to be made, one to be drilled immediately the other a little later. We are enclosing a plat showing approximately these locations also the 70 acres we have secured for our well. In order that we may act more understandingly and to the best business advantage we should now have a reading on the following points:

1. As we desire to partly finance our undertaking by the sale of 20 acres, will you advise us which portion should be sold, so that we may retain the best 50 acres - or would it be to our best advantage to retain the entire block.

2. As we can have 50 acres out of the 100 acre Evans tract should we select the east 50 acres running north and south, or the South 50 acres?

3. In drilling this well will we encounter water in sufficient quantities to require the setting of casing to cut it off, if so at what depth.

4. Do you deem this location as made the best on the lease.

Kindly give me the information requested at your earliest opportunity, as it will be necessary for us to move and be actually drilling within the next 15 days.
