This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 17th day of May, 1941, in accordance with request made by the self - Mr. [1196], Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

Time of Reading 3:55 to 4:00 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, Ala.

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes.

3. As we find, there has not been that consistent use of those things we have indicated for eliminating the disturbance in the liver and gall duct area; and these are causing a great deal of anxiety.

4. Keep quiet, using the hot and cold applications alternately - which as we find should bring the better and quicker result for the easing.

5. If temperatures continue to arise, operative measures may be necessary; but we would keep away from these as long as possible. However, with temperature, inflammation sets in.

6. Hot and cold applications, - these administered through any physiotherapist or one that treats as a neuropathist, see?

7. Do that, for the better conditions of this body.

8. (Q) Is this what causes the terrible suffering in lower abdomen, legs and lower back? (A) As indicated, there is a complication in the kidneys as well as in the prostates - and these cause the terrible pains. Use the hot and cold applications, alternately, AND the massage with the oils.

The Castor Oil Packs would remove these, if there would be the consistent use of same.

Your highly appreciated letter of the 10th just received. I do not know why so badly delayed.

I enclose money order for $5.00, for which please have copy of the story of your life mailed to me, P.O. Box …, Ala. We know we will certainly enjoy reading it, and we deeply thank you for writing us.

I am very much worried about my physical condition. I have been feeling very bad for some weeks. Do you think I should come up there for another reading, or could I get the same results by staying here? If you decide the latter, when could you assign me a date for that reading? My wife is very much worried about me.

Thanks for yours of the 19th - hope you will find the book worthwhile. Think Sugrue has done a very good job of it.

Sorry you are not feeling so good. If it is practical for you to get away for few days would be glad to have you here for the reading - can give you the afternoon of the 3rd or the morning of the 4th - let me know if you can come. Will be very glad to have you - have always felt it was better for body to be present tho of course thousands have gotten help with out my even ever knowing them.
