Dear Mr. Cayce:

I was at Broad Creek Channel during Saturday and Sunday and made another thorough search for the treasure and if it is within the forty square feet it must be down under a layer of hard rock as I have covered the entire forty square feet in detail either by excavation or probing down to the solid rock and the reading says that it is from six to twelve inches under the mangrove roots. I cannot say as to just to what I think at the present time, but, I still believe in the information given by the forces. I do not understand unless the correct information is not being given for some reason. All the people that I have interested in helping defray part of the expense are through and say that they think that I am crazy and this has been the result from Mr. […] to the last party that helped me in the project, so if there is some way or some question that good [could?] be asked the forces with reference to the correct information and with reference to the exact location I would appreciate you giving another reading and asking the following question if you think it proper:

You have before you the buried treasure at Broad Creek channel and all the information that has been given regarding it and the inquiring mind of [943] who has attempted to follow the instructions given regarding the location of the Treasure and particularly the information regarding the location within the forty square feet, without success. Will the forces correlate the information given so that a specific location will be given as understandable to the mind of [943]. The mind of [943] does not question the information given but seeks to find the treasure so that its contents may do some good to mankind. Time and money and particular money for the expense of trying to locate the treasure are limited and the mind of [943] seeks once more information concerning the location of the treasure.

And in addition the the above, Mr. Cayce, please ask the following questions:

Give size of chest Depth buried under mangrove roots When was treasure buried Number of feet from broad Channel Has chest been probed through by searchers.

Please give a reading this week if you can Mr. Cayce as my time will not be available soon to devote this work as I must find work to do of some kind.

If you can give a reading on what I should do and what I should follow in order to carry out the ideals and plans which we have in mind.

Dear Mr. Cayce,-

Please pardon me, but what I am to say is of the most vital importance to me, and you too, and others concerned, but this part Mr. Cayce in between you and I, that is if you so desire it, and it may be for the best to treat it so, and as for me it is absolutely confidential, and will be kept so, and go with me to my grave if necessary.

Now, Mr. Cayce, I am interested in the buried treasure near Broad Creek Channel, the same as you have given various readings, for Mr. [943], and for which I have financed of late, being the one who sent Mr. [943] to see you, and sent him the fifty dollars by wire for you when he was there, and I have financed now to date five expeditions in search of this treasure, and it was I who did locate the block of wood, which in a later reading you have used as the S.E. starting point for us when we cleared off the forty feet and made other searches.

So much for all this, and I am glad and happy to know I could do it, and God in Heaven knows I had every good purpose and thought in view by doing it, which was to help us all out of the financial difficulties, and for you to further your good cause and work which I understand you are doing, and may God Bless you in this.

But Mr. Cayce, is there something wrong with some one or any one of us? if so I want to know it, and how and what to do to correct it, that the work may be carried to success, for I believe the treasure is there, and it has come to me in a vision so clearly that I can see it as it lies there, and will make a sketch on back of this to show you as it appears to me, and I might add that I stopped to have a talk with a reader of minds I would call it, but do not know, any way they told me, and drew a sketch almost identical with my vision, but went farther to say the treasure was six feet deep, and covered with stones, and that there were nine men in the party who hid treasure, and they were all killed to the last one being an indian, and he would not betray the secret, and he too was disposed of, but we went down again, and with probes we struck some rock at six feet, and on through this the probe could be forced to nine feet, striking solid rock as we find at about four feet elsewhere within the forty feet.

Now Dear Mr. Cayce, is there anything you can do further to help on this, and if there is anything wrong with me at heart, please tell me so, go into a reading if you will, and tell me this, and if it is some one else tell me so, and tell me what to do, and I will do it, and I will never betray any one or anything, but work it out, and do only the right thing about it & with all concerned. We have worked hard & faithful & it has cost me several hundred dollars in cash & I really need it now, as things are so very bad here in every way. Please pardon me for writing you, but I feel it my duty to you, also myself & others.
