1. EC: Yes.

2. As we find, there has not been the adherence to those suggestions indicated.

3. And all too soon there is seen that the leakages are causing and may produce SUCH a clot as to bring greater distress.

4. Why, oh why will - !!!

Dear Mrs. [1337]-

Have been really concerned about your brother. Know just how hard it is to get the cooperation of the Dr’s in many places, and at times it appears they had rather just let a body die rather than even admit there might be help in the suggestion. And know just how you and Mrs. [his wife] must have felt, when you knew the Dr. would just throw you overboard were you to consider even changing Dr’s but do hope there has been some change for the better, for realize from what we had Mr. [1305] was in a very bad way.

May the grace of a merciful Father be with you through the hours trial, and may the very best come to your brother.

Know we are glad to try, but realize we oft have a losing game from the angle of gaining cooperation, in some directions.

My dear Mr. Cayce:-

Had intended writing to you sooner, but we have been having a very distressing time. There has been the usual difficulty of lack of cooperation, but the morning the second reading came, Mr. [1305] had a serious set back, and the following week another very serious set back. He had to be removed to the Hospital on January 2nd, and these last few days have shown some gain. We are hoping that as soon as it is possible to bring him home, and just before doing so, will ask for another reading, so as to know what method to follow.

My sister finally got a doctor to cooperate in connection with Dr. Thompson, but before they were able to start treatment, the set backs occurred.

Am enclosing money for last two readings.

My dear Mr. Cayce:-

Received your letter of the 14th, and although I must admit, I have had a very pessimistic feeling, owing to the fact that conditions interfered before they used the suggestions, your letter gave me renewed confidence that all may not be lost yet. The folks have asked for another reading, and these are the facts. They were making plans to start the treatments, and had already dismissed the Dr. on the case (because of course, he would not cooperate). Mr. [1305] suffered a severe relapse, which caused him to become unconscious. He was brought to the Hospital in that condition, because it was necessary, to give him intravenous injections to supply necessary & sufficient body nourishment & fluids. While he [1305] regained consciousness shortly after coming to Hospital, he is still (over 2 weeks now) unable to make any sounds or swallow anything but liquid foods. He is now receiving one intravenous feeding daily.
