Time of Reading 4:00 to 4:10 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, Ky. (Physical Suggestion)
-
EC: Yes, as we find, there is much improvement from the conditions as we last had them here. However, there has not been as yet a complete draining of the ducts to the gall bladder - or the gall duct is still showing some sediment, some inflammation, some inflammatory disturbance still through the right portion of the body. But all of this is much improved.
-
As we find, for strengthening the body and gradually building up resistances now, we would use Fletcher’s Castoria as may be ABSORBED by the system; that is, take small quantities, half a teaspoonful every hour until this has acted upon the eliminating system.
-
Strengthen the assimilating system by the use of Dry Milk rather than raw milk, with the yolk (not the white) of egg and with Brandy in same. Just sufficient to take away the flatness and to give some strength to the body. This taken about twice a day. This when taken not gulped but drink almost a full glass or tumbler at the time, but sipped. Be ten minutes in drinking same.
-
Also (with the osteopathic adjustments), especially of morning and of evening, we would have rubs across the diaphragm, across the abdomen and the lower portion of the spine with the combinations of these oils:
-
To 4 ounces of Russian White Oil as the carrier, add - in the order named:
Oil of Wintergreen…1 ounce, Oil of Cedar Wood…1 ounce, Oil of Sassafras Root…1/4 ounce.
-
This will tend to separate somewhat, but shake together as it is massaged, in a gentle rotary motion. Only massage into the body what will be absorbed. This is needed for not only the stimulating of the superficial circulation but will be absorbed sufficiently to set up a better activity in the lymph’s circulatory forces in the internal portion of the bodily forces themselves, see? Do this about once in the evening, once in the morning. It may be sponged off, of course, afterward with a little rub alcohol; preferably grain. Rub may be used if better desired by the body.
-
Ready for questions.
-
(Q) Should the osteopathic treatments still be given each day? (A) As indicated, the rubs are only additions for the body. The manipulations osteopathically should be continued. These may be gradually gotten farther apart but should be continued until the sources from which the organs of digestion - the liver, the spleen, the pancreas - receive the proper impulse are stimulated sufficiently from the ganglia along the cerebrospinal system; and that the pelvic organs and the respiratory system coordinate with the digestive and liver and circulatory system as related to the digestive apparatus.
-
We are through for the present.
