This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 322 Grafton Ave., Dayton, Ohio, this 7th day of August, 1925, in accordance with request made by Mrs. [147] but volunteered by EC without an appointment being made, immediately following dream interpretation rdg. 900-105.

1. EC: Now, in the physical conditions of Mrs. [147], we find the body conditions are in that state wherein the better vibration may be received by same. Those elements of the necessity of the body’s building for the general physical health are being made apparent unto the body from a different aspect. Yet these same truths have been given to the body for the individual’s benefit, for the individual to overcome, see? Hence the vibrations as are being given [through the Wet Cell Appliance]; the vibrations as may be applied through the deep osteopathic manipulation, with those that dilate, that expand, the intestinal tract, so that absorption and eliminations - and blood building forces - may be assisted. These will only be adding to those conditions and assisting further in the very way and manner as has been presented [through these sources].

2. Keep the vibrations as have just been prepared [the Wet Cell Appliance], see? adding the others as have been given, for these will overcome.

3. We are through.

R1. 8/8/25 She wrote: “I knew from your different Readings that my blood was deficient in some qualities but did not think it had reached the stage of “Pernicious Anemia”. [GD’s note: See 147-1 which indicated she had anemia.]

“Am eating all I possibly can of the things that build blood and do feel better physically and trust to have a better report to make next time. I was so discouraged when writing you the last time. As you think the glasses are having no detrimental effect that takes that much off my mind and gives me more time to WORRY about something else.

“Shall keep on with the Osteopathy, the vibrations they are giving and the battery and will write you again in a short time. Also promise you not to worry, if possible, and to keep my mind on health not its opposite.”

R2. 8/15/25 She wrote: “I know you will be glad to have the report that I am feeling so much better physically and MENTALLY. Think I can truthfully tell you I haven’t discovered a NEW thing to worry about since I last wrote you and have not worried about the old ones.

“I know that is one of the things you have been working for, so have I but seemed to be unable to do it.

“When I have the batteries renewed will write you again. Am taking the Osteopathic treatment twice a week and the other three times and the batteries every night for an hour so you can see my time is pretty well taken. Probably that is the reason I have no time for worry.”

R3. 8/27/25 She wrote: “I have a good report to make in so far as my general health is concerned. I feel stronger, have a real good appetite most of the time and feel better generally. You will find this out for yourself but I wanted the pleasure of telling you first.

AND I’M NOT WORRYING ABOUT MY CONDITION!

I have just had the batteries renewed and am asking if you will please check up and see if they are correct.

Anxious as I am to know if there is any improvement in my blood and eyes, I would not ask for a checking if it were not to know about the batteries.

Do you think I should keep on with the Machine and Osteopathy?

I am wearing the same glasses as when I last wrote you. Don’t think it wise to be changing if these are not injurious to my eyes.

No visible change in my hearing but hope there is a change occurring.”

R4. 9/18/25 She wrote: “I haven’t had the Osteopathy for more than a week. Miss [4383] has been sick and out of the office for two weeks and our heavy work has begun and there has been no time for anything but work. If you think it necessary I’ll have my eyes tested and see if I can get a better fit. I thought probably there had been some change in them. I do hope you can tell me there is an improvement in the blood.

As I wrote you I was feeling better in some ways - have more strength. If it is not necessary I’ll not take any more Osteopathy. Shall do as you say.”

B1. 7/3/25 She obtained Check Physical Rdg. 147-23 advising further in re treatment for her long standing deafness, complete in left ear, increasing in right; also in re change of eyeglasses.

B2. 8/6/25 She wrote she had renewed the Wet Cell Appliance and was wearing the first glasses, as the new ones had been too strong. D.O. gave blood test, says she is on verge of pernicious anemia, has a bad case of dry catarrh [Hypertrophic rhinitis?] that is causing both her deafness and eye trouble. He, the D.O., wants to use some kind of battery, applied between the shoulders, along with the osteopathic treatments: “I am under your care and intend doing just what you advise. Didn’t think I should refuse to let them use the machine when I didn’t know what should be done. I am wondering if I am getting the proper treatment for my ear (I mean is the Osteopath all right).

“I have tried to make this plain as I wanted you to know just what was being done.”
