This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 14th day of December, 1937, in accordance with request made by the physician on the case - Dr. Mary Miller, Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc. The Membership for this case is being sponsored, half by Dr. Miller and half by Mr. Harry M. Goetz who is an Active Member of the Association.

1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [1500].

2. As we find, while the conditions are very well understood, the causes - and that which would counteract more specifically - are not fully or wholly understood.

3. This as we find - the sarcoma condition - is in this particular case a form of an insidious condition, to be sure, that is in its very nature feeding upon the lymph and blood circulation.

4. And to be sure it is that which is called cancerous, or eating, in its nature.

5. Yet there has been kept in the system that which has at times gained upon the rebuilding and replenishing system; and at others the disturbing factors or humor in the cellular destruction in its distribution have gained upon the physical forces of the body.

6. They arose first, primarily, from too much of meats that carried in same an infectious force that, working with the mammary glands, caused or produced - through irritation - and through the breaking of cellular forces - the beginning or hardening in those glands; or in the breast.

7. Then the distribution or the breaking down has allowed it to drain into the system, so that at times the various nobules [nodules?] or conditions that arise in the breaking of the cellular forces in the lymph and superficial circulation draw upon, of course, the blood stream. As yet the condition is not in the deeper circulation but the superficial.

8. It is to be sure then weakening to the system and weakening to the organs of the system.

9. Now, in addition to that which has been administered - in stimulating those centers neuropathically in the cerebrospinal system that make for the drainages from the lymph through the eliminating systems, and keeping the electrical vibrations - that is, that have been given the system, and in the manner as given - this LOW electrical force, you see:

10. We would add these, and in this manner, to the system:

At least once a week give a maximum amount of Atropine; giving it, however, through the electrical forces or anodes; attaching same to the 9th dorsal plexus and to the lacteal duct and umbilicus center. The current should not be allowed to pass through the area for more than a minute, you see, in the beginning. The Atropine taken vibratorially in this manner, through the plexus indicated, and through the assimilating system, will stimulate the RESISTANCES in the lymph, FROM WHICH ARISES the nature producing the segregations and breaking of cells in the body; thus destroying their effective activity within themselves. The maximum amount of the Atropine, though it may be begun with the minimum amount in the anodes, see? Take the vibration, NOT injections - for the age or conditions would prevent these (the injections) working with the lymph.

12. We would also - though not on the same day; let this be rather in between the Atropine vibrations - once a week give the reverse coil of the Sinusoidal; high vibration, but used to rather the EXTREMITIES of the circulatory system. This not more than half a minute in the beginning. This - the high vibration, and in the reverse coil to be used - will work with, or work against the vibratory forces of the infectious force itself; destroying same.

13. Then keep those precautions as to the diet as has been maintained.

14. Hence then the rest is keeping the eliminations; and this as we find should bring the much nearer normal conditions - and with proper precautions, without infectious forces or cold or congestion or other conditions arising - should bring relief for this body of [1500].

R1. 12/20/37 EC’s ltr. to Dr. Miller: “There is little use in trying to comment on the information for Mrs. [1500], it speaks for its self, hope you will find it in some ways at least in keeping with good judgment, and worthwhile, will be anxious to know your reaction to the suggestions, and if you would like to have it will give you a report on something like this some years ago.

Hoping you have the very finest, the nicest Christmas ever…”

R2. 1/25/38 Letter from Dr. Mary A. Miller, D.C., 8-C, 205 West 57 St., New York City, to EC: “This letter is long overdue

• and please accept my apologies. I was very grateful for the report on Mrs. [1500] and as soon as I could get the machine straightened out after a period of disuse, I carried out the instructions. The patient felt almost immediately that the treatment was helpful and we have continued it to date.

I should very much appreciate your sending me any report on similar cases; you mentioned one in your letter of December 20th. We really feel that the case is progressing exceedingly well and I am hopeful of a complete cure.

Mrs. [1496] has probably written you herself of her rapid progress and her ability to read the newspaper. In addition to reading with a fair amount of ease, she has now added sewing to her occupations. Aside from the improved vision, we feel that her general health and appearance has improved also.

This morning I received from Mrs. [1517] my copy of the report made to her. The contents are positively thrilling and I am very anxious to have her as a patient. I believe in the near future that she will make arrangements for the treatments.

I do not understand why I have never received the electrical appliance from the Health Home Remedies Corporation. I believe you asked them to send it to me months ago and I have written them twice about it myself. I also gave them a trial order for their other remedies - in which I am much interested. Another patient you referred to me - a Mrs. [1488] - has not yet communicated with me but I will let you know as soon as she does. As you know, I would give her the very best service of which I am capable.

R3. 5/9/38 For Dr. Cayce: “Re-check of Reading of […]; Birth - Nov. 3, 1884 at … St., New York City. Questions: How much of cancer condition is left in bloodstream at present time? Are further injections of atropine advisable? Has malady affected any organs or internal parts? If so what course of treatment is advised? Will there be a recurrence of the disease at any future time? If so how will it manifest itself? Remarks: At the present time above subject is feeling far better than she has in years and is grateful for your suggestions to Dr. Mary Miller, to whom enough praise and credit cannot be given for her faithful and untiring efforts in bringing about a most marvelous cure in a potentially incurable case.” Respectfully and gratefully, Mrs. [1500]

“There must have been something wrong with [1579]‘s telephone for I finally talked to her on Monday and she said she had been at home most of the day (Sunday). She was about to start for Washington with a friend and it was her intention to go to Virginia Beach before she returned home. I told her to be sure and telephone first so that the trip would not be in vain. I sincerely hope she will be able to contact you and can have a reading.

I have been meaning to send you this data of Dr. Mary’s patient, together with the check, but we are still too busy for the usual 24-hr. day - and you know what that means. Dr. Mary is, fortunately, utterly fearless - but I get a bit worried when she cures people who have been given up by the doctors and know that they are angry and vindictive at being thus shown up. You know, of course, that no chiropractor can have a license to practice in New York state and while Dr. Mary is a licensed M.D. and Osteopath also - that does not apply to N.Y. state and they could pounce upon her for doing these things. I suppose the best thing is not to worry about it and know that, since she is doing such a marvelous work, that is sufficient protection. This is rather beside the point, but only leading up to the fact that this particular patient - Mrs. [1500] is evidently a sarcoma case, a very ugly, rose-like growth on her breast now and many ugly spots on her legs up to the end of last week. The pain has practically left them but of course the thing itself is not eradicated. Have you had any suggestions previously about forms of cancer? The family physician and others are watching this case and of course Dr. Mary MUST win out with it. We have another also - just lately come in; diagnosed as cancer of the breast, with orders for immediate operation

• cutting way back under the arm. Dr. Mary finds about 11 units of cancer - with uterine reaction - but advises her not to have the operation and not to have X-ray (she has had two treatments). She believes she is going to cure her with her hands and radionics. If you ever have had helpful suggestions about treating various forms of cancer, it certainly seems worth while to have this reading. I will send the data for Mrs. [1500] and if the other one must be done separately, perhaps we would better have that also - although there is no money there to speak of; the girl has a young son and she herself works as a secretary. Dr. Mary is paying for Mrs. [1500] and you said you would kindly get the balance of her reading Sponsored. The data is: (original name) [1500] Born New York City, Nov. 3rd, 1887 now called - [1500]. (Mrs.) [1500] is a widow, employed in the city schools.

When may we reasonably expect a report? I know there must be many waiting for your father, but naturally I am anxious

• for fear of a relapse. Mrs. [1500] has now returned to school - but is not quite fit to.

I am hurrying this off but want very soon to submit some questions for your consideration - and also to talk to you some more about the 4 & 3 (7), 144,000, Lilith, etc.

Please remember me to all the family - not forgetting that delightful secretary. It was a joy to have you all here and I hope it will be repeated. Let me know when you come to town.”
