This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 14th day of May, 1938, in accordance with request made by Hugh Lynn Cayce, Manager of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc., in Night letter, 5/13/38.

1. EC: Yes.

2. As we find, as has been indicated in the use of the B Battery Appliance, this is EVER to be used with the instrument that may REGULATE the amount of the current that is to be used in the system; this being governed by the indicator for such an amount.

3. Hence in the varied forms of application of the kind, we will find that at times a greater amount may be given than at others; or the variations in the amount of current that would be EFFECTIVE or beneficial to the system.

4. Use this, then, in connection with such an association or an appliance.

5. Ready for questions.

6. (Q) In what strength voltage should the B Battery Appliance be used for this body? (A) As given, use forty-five; but as to the strength this is - as has been indicated in the first - REGULATED by the charge or the amp. metre.

7. (Q) How may they be able to tell when it can be taken stronger? (A) By the reaction as to the twitching or jerking that occurs with the application of such an Appliance. In the feeling of the pulse, you see, so it doesn’t make the increase more than four or five in the minute beat.

8. (Q) Then they should start with forty-five? (A) They should start with naught! and give first a half, or one, two, three, according to the applications! They start with nothing, see? using the forty-five strength battery, see? but this controlled by the amp. metre.

9. (Q) Any other suggestions at this time? (A) This, of course, as has been indicated from the first, should be a part of, not the whole of the application - but the gentle massage to UNIFY or disperse same through the system; the general massage with oil following such applications, see?
