This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 5th day of April, 1938, in accordance with request made by the self, through brother-in-law, Mr. [257], Active Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

1. EC: Yes.

2. Now as we find, in most respects the physical forces of this body, Mr. [1565], are very good.

3. There are those inclinations that have been intimated and indicated for the body, and those precautions that have been outlined must be adhered to.

4. It is well that the body occasionally have that check up on the blood pressure and the circulatory forces relating between the heart, the liver and hepatic circulation.

5. Keep the eliminations by cleansing the colon rather regularly. At least once a month or once in six weeks or the like, have a thorough going over in a hydrotherapy place; including in such treatments a colonic irrigation.

6. With these precautions and the care as to the diet, we would keep rather near to normal influences and forces.

7. Ready for questions.

8. (Q) What caused the sudden recent attack? (A) A general condition in the system with a very severe reaction of indigestion and regurgitation.

9. (Q) What diet should the body take to protect system from reoccurrence? (A) A plain diet, rather than highly seasoned foods or any quantity ever of foods carrying vinegar or the effects of acetic acid.

10. (Q) Is there anything organically wrong with the body? (A) As indicated, only that there are inclinations; and it is well that there be an occasional check on the blood pressure and the circulation as related to the manner or order given; say once in six months or once in a year.

And if there are the precautions with diet and the cleansing of the system from toxic forces, the blood pressures should be kept very near to normal - and then the circulation between those portions of the system indicated.

But these are regulated more by the effect of toxic forces from a sluggish or lazy colon. Hence the indications given.

Do that.

11. (Q) What exercise should the body take? (A) As indicated, a rather regular exercise - but the occasional use of a general workout in the hydrotherapy treatments; including in same the colonic irrigations.

12. (Q) What should the body be careful of in traveling from place to place? (A) As has just been indicated.

13. (Q) Has the present doctor diagnosed the case correctly? (A) This as it coincides with that indicated, correct.

14. (Q) Shall the body follow his instructions? (A) Very well.

15. (Q) Any other suggestions? (A) Do as has been indicated if we would have the better forces and influences for this body.
