This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 13th day of April, 1944, in accordance with request made by the self - Mr. [1565], Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

Time of Reading 3:45 to 3:50 P. M. Eastern War Time. New York, N.Y.

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time with suggestions for further corrective measures, answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, this we have had before.

3. Here it might be said “We told you so.” Had you followed some of those suggestions more closely that we have indicated for the body heretofore, there would not be these segregations, these tendencies for accumulations of lymph pockets through the body and the tiredness resulting from same, the general “all-over-ness” and the puffiness through portions of the lymph circulation; as in the prostate, in the abdominal area and in the activity of the heart itself.

4. There are two courses that may be pursued, either of which will give results. As to whether these conditions are eliminated will depend very much upon the diet and upon the general activity of the body following same.

5. The body may in its present environment take the ultra-violet light with the green glass projected between the light and the body. Apply this for only a minute, along the area of the spine and in the front portion of the body, twice a week for a period of six weeks. Following each of the light treatments (not before but following each treatment) give a gentle, thorough massage with pine oils.

6. The alternate course would be for the body to take a complete rest, where it may be in water and in the sun, so as to obtain the violet ray directly; but the body should be careful that there are not blisters from being in water and then in sun. However, the body should be wet before it rests on the sand. The east coast of Florida for this body would be very well, or the lower coasts of California. If this course is taken, there should be a complete rest for three to four weeks, and following this rest period there should be the series of massages.

7. Either of these methods would make a great deal of change and help for the body.

8. In any case, do refrain from any form of carbonated waters, hard drinks or the like; and do keep better eliminations.

9. Keep better eliminations through the general diet and activity.

10. Ready for questions.
