Under the existent conditions, the environs and surroundings, we could not - we would not - change the material applications. For the physical forces and activities, with the tendency for the esophagus to close, and for the activities of the digestive system to rebel, are too much in keeping with that which is being used to induce same to better activity.
-
But self, those about the entity who look to and who feel the abilities for the seeking of aid through spiritual sources, spiritual activities - that the life and the experiences may thus be made more in keeping to fulfil the purposes for which the entity is in this material plane - this alone in the present may be able to overcome those physical disturbances. Prayer, meditation, DEPENDENCY upon the promises and the activities of the mental self for resuscitating forces from the divine within, as in coordination with those who have the abilities of this entity in the present at heart.

Dear Mr. Cayce.
Mr. [1629] passed away Aug 8 11 P.M. He was in the hospital over two months the immediate cause of death was abscess on lung, complicated with stricture of esophagus anemia and stomach trouble. We did every thing we could for him.
I feel the poor boy is happier now, not to be hampered with his physical body.

New Orleans, La.
Dear Mr. Cayce:-
No doubt you remember some correspondence & acquaintance with [1629], Birmingham Ala. He asked me to write you, to see if you could help him some. As he needs the help badly.
He has been in N.O. La. - 5 or 6 wks. Been in the Charity hospital over three WEEKS. He is mere skin & bone, like a skeleton. Suffering with stricture of the esophagus they fed him with infusions of saline & glucose thru his veins, and now, they are giving him the nasal feedings milk & eggs thru his nose. He is much better last few days. But he has been, & IS a very sick man.
