This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 8th day of June, 1939, in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. [1807], Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

[Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. Hugh Lynn Cayce.]

Time of Reading 11:20 to 11:30 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, N.J.

  1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions she has submitted, as I ask them:

  2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1807].

  3. As we find, there are great improvements in the general physical forces, as well as the general attitude of the body.

  4. There have been those periods of apparent relapsing into the greater disturbing conditions, yet these as we find come partly from a little neglect on the part of the body as well as attitudes the body assumed towards circumstances and environs.

  5. Thus we find conditions reverting, as it were, to a general disturbance.

  6. There are indications that occasionally there is a return of a great deal of discomfort through the intestinal tract, and through the activities of the organs of assimilation.

  7. These as we find will be considered in the general applications for changes and for the activities at this time.

  8. There are also disturbances in the temperatures, or the infectious forces. These arise partially from infection in some of the teeth. These especially need attention, those as indicated on the upper right hand side, - the back teeth and lower on the same side. These should be given local attention, - cleansed, etc.

  9. And during such periods of attending to the teeth, we would have specific osteopathic adjustments administered, especially for the head and neck and about those centers as relate to the vagus center and the 4th cervical to the lower portion of the jaw on either side of the head or neck.

  10. The rest of the osteopathic adjustments are very well. Make more, however, in the coccyx and sacral areas; that the tensions which have existed between the lower portion of the digestive system may be relieved in their relationships to the peristaltic movements of the lower portion of the jejunum. Thus we will relieve a great deal of the tensions through the periods of digestive forces.

  11. Following these, we would have plenty of rest by the body, - but in an atmosphere of activity that is in the OPEN, and where there is plenty of life and activity around the body - by those around the body, if not associated with the body - for observation by the body during such rest periods.

  12. We would continue the Violet Ray as has been indicated, but be more consistent in the periods of its use.

  13. Also we would use an alkalizer for the alimentary canal. Preferably, as we would indicate in the present, each day take three or four drops of Glyco-Thymoline internally, in a little water. Take this for sufficient period until the ODOR of same may be detected from the stool. This will purify the whole of the alimentary canal and create an alkaline reaction THROUGH the lower portion of the alimentary canal.

  14. Use enemas rather than too great a quantity of laxatives or cathartics. But alter the diets, especially in that plenty of fruits and vegetables are taken, green or raw, to assist in that direction.

  15. Thus we will continue to bring the better influences and forces for this body.

  16. Attend to the teeth first, - then the rest would be kept in line with those suggestions as we have given.

  17. We are through with this Reading.
