This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 4th day of November, 1939, in accordance with request made by the mother - Mrs. [1690], Associate Member of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions which may be submitted, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes.

3. Now as we find, conditions are gradually assuming rather alarming conditions, - unless there is the removal of those conditions which are causing so much poison in the system, - the tonsils AND the adenoids.

4. For it is not only making for pressures that may involve the rest of the tissue through the face and that about the ear, but there is a mis-shaping of the face by these very pressures; as well as the pressure upon the nerve forces to such an extent as to become dangerous to the hearing AND to the eyesight.

5. We would, then, have these conditions removed by operative measures.

6. Then, ten to fifteen days afterward, when these have healed somewhat, there may be given the instructions for assisting in purifying and building up the body.

7. Ready for questions.

8. (Q) Is there danger of mastoid development? (A) As has just been indicated.

These, then, we would attend to as soon as practical, - and the sooner the better.

…Now Cousin Edgar comes the hard part - [2036] my baby was fifteen past February and she is in my opinion in not very good condition. Anyway, I am terribly worried about her, for several years I guess, she has had headache a great deal, pains in head, ears and back of ears, has very bad teeth and tonsils and adenoids, is underweight and in past ten days has had two peculiar spells with her eyes accompanied by nausea and headache. I am so worried and afraid that maybe it is an accumulation of poison for tonsils and abscessed teeth or maybe mastoid trouble might develop. I am just awful worried about her and would take her to Dr. but don’t want any guesswork and know that you can tell what the conditions are and treatment for same. Therefore, I’ve gotten up the nerve to ask you that if you can sometime get in a reading for her, I will be most grateful and promise to do my best to carry it out even if I have to ask for help outside. I just don’t know what to do, only to call on you, but if you are not able to give it, just say so. I won’t feel bad and will always love you the same for what you are. [2036] goes to school, at home Sat. and Sundays.
