-
In the condition as regarding the child, [2036], here we find the physical conditions are in that state wherein temperature in the hepatic circulation is kept above the normal.
-
We would give broken doses of Castoria for at least two (2) days, until the system is thoroughly cleansed.
-
Then prepare this as a tonic for the body, to clarify and cleanse the blood:
-
To one-half (1/2) gallon of distilled water, add:
Dogwood Bark… 1 ounce, Prickly Ash Bark… 1 ounce, Sassafras Root Bark… 1 ounce.
-
Reduce this by simmering (not boiling) to one-half (1/2) the quantity. Then cut two (2) drams Balsam of Tolu in two (2) ounces of grain alcohol, and add to solution.
-
Shake solution well together before each dose is taken, which should be half teaspoonful four (4) times each day.
-
Let the child be more regular in its meals.
-
We are through for the present.

Mrs. [1690] …, Ky.

We are now preparing the data and information obtained through the psychic readings of Mr. Cayce for the use of the members of the Association of National Investigators. In order that we might be able to make our records as complete as possible, we would appreciate a letter from you advising us as to whether or not you carried out the suggestions given in the reading on your daughter, dated May 11th, 1927, and as to the results obtained.
We would thank you to let us hear from you as soon as possible, and if we can be of any further service to you we would be very glad for you to let us know.

Background
Background
B1. See 2036-2 on 7/16/26 for correspondence preceding reading.
B2. 5/4/27 Mother’s letter reporting on another child [1352]‘s reading, also requesting another physical Reading for her mother, Mrs. [1181]:
Little [2036] is not doing so well, has had so many colds, complains of ears and back of ears and legs aching and since February she breathes awful, breathes thru mouth, nose doesn’t discharge only with fresh cold, but at night in trying to breathe thru nose, she just gasps and makes awful noise trying to breathe. I suspect her nose is almost filled up with adenoids or possibly inflammation caused form colds, and if you possibly can, please give reading on her too. She is so cross and irritable and I feel sure it is caused from this condition, and too I’m afraid it will develop into something more serious.
B3. 5/10/27 EC wrote her saying he would get both check readings [for [2036] and [1181]] as soon as possible.
B4. 5/11/27 P.M. Following a first Physical Reading for Mr. [4859] [4859-1], EC volunteered [that is, without having planned consciously to give them or without having made a definite appointment] first Physical Reading 3965-1, then Check Physical 1181-6, and then 2036-3.
