1. GC: You will have before you the entity [2072], born March 25, 1910, in Attica, Indiana; who seeks a Check Life Reading with information, advice and guidance, and more detail as to certain past incarnations. You will answer the questions submitted by the entity, as I ask them, concerning past associations and their influence in the present, also as to the entity’s studies of spiritual truths in an effort to apply them in her daily life:

2. EC: Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [2072].

3. In giving information as may be helpful to the entity, while much that may be read or understood may be accepted, we find that this answers - or must answer - to something within, to be wholly accepted.

4. Remember, there is knowledge as may come that is not from above. Such knowledge (as has been produced in the experience of this entity) has oft brought confusion, rather than peace.

5. There has been set forth the manner, by those who testified of Him who IS the truth and the way and the light; and there is no other whole truth. Much may be a half truth, or an inclination to use such for the expanding of the own ego of the source of such information. [See 10/57 report under 2072-16 Reports.]

6. Hence warnings in this direction for this entity. As to why, may be explained more in urges that arise from experiences in the earth.

7. As to the place of records, - this is a place, yet it is everywhere. It, the information, to be individualized, must come from some source into some form to be interpreted in the experience of the seeker. As; ye have here a source through which information as respecting varied experiences or associations may be given that affects the self in the present. The questioning, or the ability to question, indicates the ability to answer in self. And these must follow a universal law. That which ever supersedes or is even an extenuation of spiritual and natural law, not only doubt but reject. And know, as He hath given in those witnesses as concerning the way, that these are not past finding out but are conditional - to be sure. One must, and should, prove self worthy, by the application of the universal law (and natural law) in accord with the spiritual purpose in same to be qualified, to be in the position to understand and interpret further into that man (because of his own denseness and selfishness) has called the wisdom of the age, or the mysteries of the divine.

8. To be sure, that which has disturbed this body oft, from the records that have been interpreted - and the entity has accepted or looked at with a longing, - when, what and where, then, is the source of information, such as ye seek here and now?

9. What records? Whose record is being interpreted, or being attempted to be interpreted, that ye may comprehend that being sought?

10. The records are upon time and space, but these - ye say - are concepts of man. There is no time, there is no space; they are concepts. Then, - where?

11. In individual consciousness. The individual consciousness arises from that faculty or that something called mind. Thus those of old have said it in these words: “My spirit beareth witness with thy spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.”

12. Then, the record is thine. How, then, - ye ask, - may this individual ye call Edgar Cayce interpret same? How do I know such is a correct interpretation? From whence is same read? With what is there the interpreting of happenings physical, of associations with material purposes and desires, under those environs when quite a different manner or language was used in interpreting the associations and activities? Whence cometh such a knowledge to one individual, as to interpret the records of another through varied spheres of activity or experience?

13. Only as a gift of Him who has given, “If ye keep my ways, I will love thee, will abide with thee, and bring to thy remembrance ALL things from the foundation of the world.”

14. Then, while the source may be entirely capable of bringing a full or complete knowledge, the answers must ever be according to the law just given - within thine own self.

15. These truths - not thoughts - consider; as ye seek interpreting of experiences and associations, - as well as when ye read those interpretings by others that are guided or directed by their interpretation of their spirit of direction.

16. Ready for questions.

17. (Q) Please give exact local time of my present physical and soul birth. (A) These, as we find, were almost identical or concordant with the physical and the spiritual birth. For this, as is a natural law, would be a portion of the natural consequence of early return to physical consciousness; though coming in quite a varied or different environ. Yet the entity was destined - and what is destiny? Something that will not be altered or changed?

Every form of expression might fail to give the true interpretation of what is meant. For, this may illustrate same: “For this purpose came I into the world.” So He came on other occasions, but failed to keep the whole law.

So with this entity, destined - because of seeking, because of the awareness - in the cosmic consciousness - of activities in the physical consciousness of that being often sought within self from the varied experiences.

Thus, with the first opportunity wherein co-genital activities were of such a nature that allowed the entrance, this soul-entity sought consciousness. Thus the soul and the physical birth of the entity came at the same period; as ye call time, eleven-eleven (11:11).

18. (Q) Please give that incarnation previous to the present in which I was little Anna Seay, and its association with the entity now Edgar Cayce? (A) In interpreting this, it would be necessary - for the perfect understanding - to associate same with another appearance. And remembering those things given, - there is no time, there is no space save as the individual use or application of same may separate it into such activities as necessitate the meeting of conclusions or choices sought or wrought in those experiences.

In another experience were the associations such as to bring about this close association of the entities known as Anna Seay and Edgar Cayce.

In the Egyptian experience there were those purifyings of the entity through the activities referred to through these channels as the Temples of Sacrifice, the Temple Beautiful. These, as has been indicated, were the physical attempts of this priest Ra-Ta to install, instill, or to make physical application of those ways or manners that individual entities might be rid of those causes, - or the desires for a body to prefer or to give way to self rather than the complete dedicating of self to the spiritual truths.

As has been indicated, in that particular experience there were still those who were physically entangled in the animal kingdom with appendages, with cloven-hooves, with four legs, with portions of trees, with tails, with scales, with those various things that thought forms (or evil) had so indulged in as to separate the purpose of God’s creation of man, as man - not as animal but as man. And the animal seeks only gratifying of self, the preservation of life, the satisfying of appetites. With infinity injected in same brought the many confused activities or thoughts that we know now as appetites. Yes, a dog may learn to smoke! Yes, a horse may learn to eat sugar! But these are not natural inclinations - rather man’s influence upon these activities by associations!

All these forms, then, took those activities in the physical beings of individuals. This priest, this Ra-Ta, attempted to eradicate same; in that manner as might be compared to the hospitalization in the present, where individuals - through the lack of the proper application of the physical laws - have allowed growths, tumors, cancers, those things or conditions in the body, - stones in various portions of the organism; and the necessity - as considered in the present - of operative measures to remove growths of various characters throughout the system. Then these had more the form of activities that were outward manifestations. Now they have gradually been subsided, to be sure; yet these nearer illustrate the character of the things attempted to be eradicated. Not that it was wholly, wholly the truth, but the best understanding to that period.

And thus the abilities to apply the spiritual laws in such ways and means as to coordinate and correlate same with the physical laws were demonstrated in that experience.

The entity known as Anna Seay was then, in those experiences with the regeneration of that priest Ra-Ta, the last of those to whom, through whom, with whom there were those closer associations in such activities as brought about the continued desire of the physical relationships and activities. Thus the cleansing of the entity in the Temple of Sacrifice. Thus as has been indicated oft, in the questions as have been asked by some, the what and where of the mark by Ra-Ta; this indicating the nature of that - as was the principal eradicating of that causing, or as expressed by the witness - that is the besetting sin of the individual.

Thus, in this entity, the mark was made in the throat - as the voicing of those activities in the experience.

Thus as the entity Anna Seay, and the association by the relationships that existed in the offspring of those activities in that period, brought about a relationship that is rarely indicated in the activities of individual entities in the earth at so young a period, - or in a period when there is the transition of the spiritual, the mental and the material forces. For, these are the growths, - if there is the correct interpretation of that in the consciousness of physical beings. No purer life may be manifested than that which is seen in the soul finding manifestation in the babe. Yet it contacts those urges, either from its own body-feeding - as from its mother, or whatever form, - and then those awakenings. Still, the entity is aware of it so late - there are not words that express just what is meant, but - of its relationship to the whole of the universal experience in material as well as spiritual.

And yet it must return to apply those things in material consciousness.

These entities, as they became associated, found much of that as had been the experience as companions in the Egyptian activities, and thus brought all of those things to bear in their associations as one to another, - not only of the union as of body and mind and of purpose, or of spirit and intent, but the abilities to communicate, or to commune with other forms of expression materialized from the spiritual influences - as called.

For, as ye may have readily interpreted from those again who are witnesses of the truth, - we are all hedged about by the influences of good and bad according to that we have assisted in creating, that becomes our spiritual environment in a material world.

Yet the individual remembrance of the Creative Force, or God, is represented in “He hath given his angels charge concerning thee,” and His angel ever stands before the throne of grace.

These entities comprehended, and yet knew not - for not understood.

And then she was taken, to again become in that realm of spirit and influence or guiding that would bring those experiences to others through whom, to whom, the entity owed much.

Thus again have they been privileged to know, to understand, - and yet others may still never comprehend.

R2. 6/28/42 (Sunday evening) [2072]‘s letter to EC:

Dear Eddie,

I wonder where I can begin and whether I can do justice in words to all the things I’ve been thinking since returning.

It did me much good to see you and be with you at Congress-time and after. One feels so “full” of things when they come away from just being with you a little while! and my reading, of course, made my cup most full of good from you.

And the book [A Search for God] - [1861] and I have picked it up often, especially before going to bed at night, to read portions of it, with a satisfaction that I at least say, and sincerely, that I have never found in any other book. We have both read much along this subject but nothing has ever been so compactly, so beautifully, so simply and practically written. I feel like throwing away all other books and making it and the Bible my only study books. It is so USABLE. One doesn’t need search through thousands of words for a MORSEL of something to help their spiritual growth, or at-one-ment. There is so much here we don’t want to read but a little at a time for fear of losing the beauty of lingering and meditating on each sentence. Well I could go on and on, but I’m just thankful to you, Eddie, for this little book.

I’m enclosing a copy of [1861]‘s first letter [6/27/42 Letter, see Par. R3 below] to proceed the books, for your approval or suggestions. [Gift books of SFG to ministers] Of course, they will not all be alike, but you might have some suggestions, so we thought we would send this, and from now on send the addresses of those to whom he has written letters to you at the end of each week. This letter was mailed to Dr. Alley yesterday. Mr. Faulkner, our Episcopal minister, left some church publications yesterday for [1861] to work on this coming week. As any new persons or suggestion come to your mind please inclose them in your letters.

Will you save for me the afternoon of July 22nd, when we are there again, for a continuation of my Check Life Reading? I would like to continue those questions which remain unanswered. [1861] says I may.

How I wish for a visit from you, and keep praying God shall make it possible for you to come not too far away from now. Everything I do seems to make me think of you being here.

Now may I set down things, or interpretations and questions that have come to me from my reading and will you help me with the understanding of it?

These were the counsels then as they seem to me which I would like very much to have you expatiate on:

(Can I sit on the floor in front of you while you relax in your big chair by the radio - let’s imagine anyway?) Let’s begin with the study of spiritual truths as the reading itself begins and then come to Anna and Eddie and Ra-Ta.

First then: In the study of spiritual truths, of whatever source, I must accept them as TRUTHS only after and when they answer to something within. This means I must ever seek inward.

2. The MANNER of attaining to truths has been set forth by Christ who is Himself the Truth, the Way, and the Light. There is no other WHOLE truth. By proving oneself worthy, keeping His ways and by application of universal and natural law one may put their self at-one with the Creative Forces and bear witness of truths.

3. The place of records of truths is universal. The seeker may either seek the answers from that storehouse thru and within itself (for the very questioning indicates ability to answer in self) or such information may be given through another, as yourself, who has become a channel. How beautifully put that about you as a channel “Only as a gift of Him who has given “If ye keep my ways,” etc. Where does this quotation come from in the Bible?

4. If a supposed truth supercedes or is an extenuation of spiritual and natural law - doubt or reject it.

To continue, physical and spiritual birth, in the present life, came at the same time as a natural consequence (natural law) of early return to the physical consciousness. I was destined to return because of my seeking in physical consciousness of that being often sought within self from the other experiences.

So little Eddie and Anna had cause to love one another and no wonder they STILL do! I couldn’t help but feel there was another link somewhere.

Can you explain the Egyptian incarnation to me then? Was it that you helped me to find the coordination and correlation of the use of the physical laws with those of the spiritual laws (similar, maybe, to those you have given again today on meditation in the little book). Does it mean that these aided the regeneration? Was it that the association and physical relationships, and the use of the spiritual laws combined with the physical to bring about same brought about the desire to cleanse and purify myself in the Temple from some one of these animal-like appendages?

The mark in the throat meaning, then that I should now give voice to or help others to use the physical creative forces for spiritualizing or attaining to the at-one-ment with Christ and God and His Will and also use my own Forces as a channel for His blessings to others?

And yet this realization of this relationship and the knowledge of the Creative Forces and sexual love “have come late”, yes as it says, in this life (not until I was 22 or 3) because I shunned - I didn’t want to hear it laughed about and degraded so. Must have really been because of the sacredness of it that I had gathered from and with you.

Explain to me “And yet it must return to apply those things in material consciousness.” Is this again the applying of the spiritualizing of the Creative Forces?

We didn’t understand all of these things as Anna and Eddie but comprehended. And again we know and understand now?

My duty now to bring those experiences through influence and love to others?

Have I seen rightly? You can perhaps help me to see and understand as no one else can.

So now you and I can know why I still love you.

I’ll have to close. I wasn’t able to finish last night and have had to continue tonight. So I enclose a copy of another letter and the following address to whom [1861] has written letters today.

Rev. Dr. Ruben E. Alley, Editor Religious Herald Richmond, Va.

Dear Dr. Alley:

Within a few days you will receive a copy of a little book that has just been published by The Association for Research and Enlightenment, Inc. Its title is “A Search For God”.

This volume has been published, after more than 12 years of study and application of its principles by a group of 12 people of different religious beliefs and church affiliations. They have found these things to be of so much value that the book is being published and distributed without financial profit to the group or the Association.

If, after careful reading, you find “A Search For God” merits a review in the columns of your paper, such would be very grately appreciated by our Association. Please feel free to make any favorable or unfavorable comment you wish, as we want this book to stand on its own merits and are making no attempts to influence either personal or published opinion concerning it.

The only request we have to make is that if you do not find “A Search For God” of sufficient value to you to keep for your own use, that you kindly return the book to the writer of this letter. However, we are happy to present the book to you to keep as your own if you think it worth having.

Should you feel so inclined to do so, I should be glad to have your personal comment, regardless of whether you wish to review this book or not.

Dear [2072]:

Thanks for yours of the 28th - 1st tell [1861] thanks for the letters - have today mailed copies of “A Search for God” to Dr. Reamey, Dr. Alley and Dr. Poling, think his letter just right, hope they bring excellent results, like the reports thus far - and yours well personally value your opinion of the matter equal or better than any one who might pass on same - for know you have read and studied from a seeker’s point of view, and if you feel you have all that is best here, well that answers to me that it has been prayerfully and well done. Thank you more than will ever be able to tell you.

Don’t think I ever quite allow myself to think and feel about you and [1861] as my heart prompts me, for fear it would become very material for realize the love once had is still worth very much alive - can’t ever tell you just how that seeks recognition when am near you at times - but at times feel you sense it or something very near akin to it - but to have one with you as it was from the past yet realizing it is now and not the past. Well there aren’t words to explain it.

Have reserved the day of July the 22nd so hope if at all possible to have you both here for the day. Can’t you??

Of course by letter is such a poor way to try and answer your conclusions or deductions from the readings, but with HIS help will do the best I can - 1st - you are fully correct, never accept any thing - well the fact is one cannot fully accept any thing unless it answers to a something within self

• the I AM refuses, unless the I AM with in answers to same. That is why one may be trained until all good conscience within refuses all but that training - yet never satisfies.

2nd - absolutely correct - the Christ way is the Way - the truth and the light and that way the man Jesus attained for each and every soul, showing us the way thus may we as individuals attain with HIM as the guide the way and the life.

3rd - yes - reverts back to the first premise. One attains through self for even tho such truths may be obtained through a channel - the consciousness of such being true must be answered within self. Do not recall the chapter and verse just now from which the idea is taken but believe it is the 16th chapter of John, and then may be a liberal translation. But believe it is very true.

4th - From the association and oneness of purposes in the experience in Egypt, you and I were brought together as Little Anna and Little eddie - that we might truly experience true love in and of the spirit necessary that we come again together in such circumstances as in the present that sex or nothing of the pure earth nature enter - that each might continue in that attained so many hundreds of years ago as man counts time - so where supposed truth supercedes spiritual law reject - must be natural law - even as we see manifested in what has been the experience of you and I in the present.

Don’t know as can better put the Egyptian experience in to words - other than that now in the present circumstance we can understand when even then we could not wholly understand

• but being of one, ONE purpose we are given the privilege of now coming to an understanding. The desire then to be Clean from any care that would hinder from a pure understanding - has brought to each of us the knowledge we have to day of the needs of just such in life in the earth - as to what the Animal desire or appendage was matters little - it is today the spiritualized ideal of the Christ.

Yes - the mark indicating you are to give voice to the knowledge in every way possible. Aiding others you give yourself the power to be at-one-ment with the Christ Consciousness.

“Yet it must return to apply those things in material consciousness” being aware of same - having the experience with you, before you, as it must necessarily be when you and I are together - you are equipped to aid others in understanding what is necessary to attain the Christ Consciousness in every way as comes in the experience of the seeker - thus interpreting the emotions of the body in its every phase. Isn’t that what you get from same. Right we did not comprehend all as Anna and Eddie - yet now there is such force as to aid us in aiding others to find their way.

Believe you have the insight as to what is presented there - and the continuance of the reading should clarify it all for each of us.

Yes - we know why we loved each other from the first moment either of our names came to the other - “The ways of the Lord are not past finding out” but only the pure in heart may know God - is also true and the Lord is one - so each must apply in every instance.

Do hope to spend a few days or hours with you and [1861] in … soon - as soon as circumstance permits lets hope very soon.

Didn’t send letter or copy to Dr. Poling - but have sent him a book to be sure a letter has gone out - do you wish the copy of letter returned to you - or must I use same as the connection with the sending of the books - if you make duplicate copies of letters can keep a file here.

Wednesday evening

Dearest Eddie,

First to thank you for your LOVELY letter and the help you gave me in interpreting the reading. It was a beautiful reading.

I wonder if Gladys has been able to find, in her shorthand notes of the reading, a portion that started with “The entity is aware of its soul light…” I wrote asking her about it, but I know she has been very busy. I needed to study what followed in explanation of this as I didn’t fully understand it on only the one hearing.

[1861] has written and sent letters to the two following editors, pending your following these with books.

1. Mr. Guy Emery Shipler, Editor, The Churchman, 425 - 4th Ave., New York City.

2. Rev. Beverly M. Boyd, Editor, The Southern Churchman, 110 West Franklin St., Richmond, Va.

Regarding the copies of letters we sent you in the last letter: They were simply for you to O.K. and keep on file if you wish. We sent a letter to Dr. Poling. Since the letters will all contain the same, or very nearly the same wording, don’t you think it will be sufficient to keep on file merely the name and address of those to whom letters and books will be sent? I think you will find that will be better than burdening your files with repetitious letters.

We read in a particular source, the other day, that the Quakers were the ONLY religion whose members turn INWARD for spiritual guidance and inspiration. Have you any Quaker members in the Association who might be able to give a copy of the book to the Editor of their paper?

We would appreciate it if you would send us any other addresses of church publications as they come to your mind.

Has the board reading been given yet?

A question that has come to our mind lately, in fact just this morning, as I picked up our copy of the 14 Books of the Apocrypha - supposedly the authorized version of the Books that are not in the Bible (1. Three Holy Children. 2. Wisdom of Solomon. 3. Bel and the Dragon. 4. Maccabees I. 5. II. 6. Manasses. 7. Susanna. 8. Baruch. 9. Ecclesiasticus or Jesus Sirach. 10. Esther. 11. Judith. 12. Tobit. 13. Esdras I and 14. II.) Has any information ever been obtained through readings as to the authority and value of these, their interpretation or meaning, or the reason for their never having been put in the Bible?

I had a most vividly interesting dream of you and us the other night. Although it was so clear as to seem real, it must have been symbolical - just how I don’t exactly understand, but perhaps it will interpret itself in “time”. I had been, each time I awoke that night, trying to meditate and come nearer to the source of all Truths. When I awoke from my dream I found I had had my fist (palm inward) pressed against the middle of my forehead (the psychic center). To describe the dream: we were at your home talking with you when [1861] suddenly asked you about your television set. You said you had one and that you had a special room in the basement below your house for a television set-up and invited us to come with you and see it if we wanted to. We did want to and you took us down into one room of a nicely fixed basement that contained many other rooms, for filing and various other things. As we seated ourselves, however, you said you had a film you especially wanted to show us and so it was thrown on the television screen. It was the process and preparation of a certain girl or lady for a levitation. The first of the picture showed a nurse massaging the young lady’s back previous to the levitation. Then we saw the same one gradually rise into the air from & in a lying position. After the picture had finished I both saw and felt the hand ONLY, of the girl who had been levitated, in my hand. The feeling that I experienced through the hand in mine was that it seemed to want to give me the impression that I was able to understand the levitation or could accomplish same. From there you took us into another room and started to hold up a film in your own hands to have it reflected on a little screen. Faintly I caught a picture of a home. Then I was suddenly near you (as [2072]) kissing you, you kissing me, and love flowed beautifully through both of us. It was a lovely dream. I awoke.

That’s a nice close for my letter, don’t you think, so I’ll stay with you there, then.

Dear [2072]

Maybe it is a good thing you are not near enough to hear me think or speak wrather just now - might be tempted to call you all the kind names used to call little Anna.

Thanks for yours of the 8th - glad my letter helped out a bit, yet was afraid that didn’t make myself as clear as would like to have.

Miss Gladys says she has just been so busy she hasn’t had time to look any thing up - but fears she did not get any thing of the kind. Would like to recall it for you - but hardly know how. Maybe can get it next time.

Have sent the books to the two names you gave me - Mr. Shipler and Rev. Boyd. No, didn’t think there was any use in keeping the copy but didn’t know whether [1861] wished to have copies in his file or not.

Oh yes we have quite a number of Quakers in the Philadelphia vicinity have set books to several of these.

No the Board reading hasn’t been taken as yet - will be before the report goes in and that has to be in by the 15th of this month. Will send you what it says about [1861] in same.

Have seen the books referred to that were left out of the Bible - reading says and believe it is born out in history - that when King James of England appointed the board to write or translate the Bible there were Seventy appointed - and they voted on the ones to be included and those left out - that Luke was in question and only was put in possibly by one vote.

Quite an interesting dream - some time we will try and see if we can work it out of you like. Have to be in a special humor for that like reading Auras - and can’t get any thing at times and others - well may see or get too much, so am always a bit juberous [dubious] about my interpretations - when awake tho at times many think it very good.

Expect tho you are better able to get the meaning of it all than any one else - hope you write your dream down or do you. Do this one and let’s see what we may make out of it some time.

My niece [Sarah Elizabeth McPherson] was here last week was for two weeks - had she come before you left for home she just left yesterday, no Wednesday afternoon - a very sweet little girl she is so small and can never think of her other than a little girl tho she is in her thirties.

R7. 7/17/42 (Friday) [2072]‘s letter to EC:

Dear Eddie,

I wish I MIGHT have been “near enough to hear you think or speak” and have you once again call me all of the names, Eddie. I think it would be very nice.

Dreamed of being with you yesterday morning. They’re nice dreams always.

Have a good report for you from our Episcopal Minister upon the “Search for God.” He came over today and volunteered his enthusiastic opinion, saying that the book certainly reflected true Christianity and that he thought it would help him very much. He wanted to keep the copy. He said he could only find one fault with it, that he did not know about the 3rd eye, and that many would probably not read it because of that. But that NEW fact will, no doubt, make him think.

[1861] pointed out the fact that the group had been told to STUDY and APPLY these things, and had done so for 12 years before they were ready to publish the book.

Mother likes the book very much, especially the prayers, and said this evening that one might not understand the 3rd eye explanation but could go on their own way and perhaps they will be given an understanding of that some time. She has a keen, open, unprejudiced mind and would not hinder another’s beliefs, and realizes she might not know everything. To live with her is to know one of the best and most Christian mothers in all the world.

Oh yes, another report from one of [1861]‘s students to whom he gave a copy of the book because she wanted to know more about you. Her letter came before she had finished reading it, of course, to thank him, and she says “So far I can say that never have I read a book that was so full of inspirations and real food for thought.”

Well it has become my constant companion; is often (it, the Bible, or something from a reading) the last thing I read at night before going to bed.

Thought you might like to read this item about a “miracle” healing which was in The Richmond News Leader July 16th. Then I would appreciate your returning it, as I am keeping a file of such items.

Last evening, studying my reading, I came upon the place where I had understood you to say “the entity is aware of it’s soul light.” I may have misinterpreted for Gladys heard “the entity is aware of it SO LATE.” The strange thing is one could place either wording there and the sequence of words fit, giving, of course, a little different meaning. But is the term “soul light” one ever used? Would you read back over the reading page 4, the 5th paragraph, and toward the last ”…Still, the entity is aware of it so late…” there are not words, etc. It seemed to me as I listened to you, you gave a new thought or paragraph there, for you seemed to pause before beginning, “Still the entity is aware of it’s soul light,” etc. That which follows seems to fit this thought.

If I do not get to write again we’ll see you next Wednesday, the 22nd, and maybe Tuesday night for Bible Class.

Thanks for yours of the 17th - the reports are excellent - and believe the criticism are just as good - the reference may help - just hope they do not throw over that as is good because they find something they do not wholly accept - it may be a mooted question but surely they cannot say it absolutely does not exist - because they have seen - A THIRD EYE - what do you think of the comments.

Like Mrs. […]‘s comment but am already prepared to just fall in love with her any way - give her my thanks please.

Well the student who wished to know more about me - think the book speaks for that - don’t you - am just as curious as that book - where some might find ???? marks in the book many would find the same question marks in me personally it is a reflection of my life as I think it is.

Glad you like it - have had some lovely comments here and there - funny the different things that impress people - more have spoken of the prayers through out the book than any other one thing. That possibly is a very good sign - have oft heard it said you know a body best by the prayer they said.

Thanks very much for the clipping or letting me see same - we are trying to get all such together - if you can get hold of another copy please send it for the files - and any thing along such lines or any psychic experiences please send to the office here.

Yes - believe there is the term “Soul Light” do not know what was said have read your reading however - it is quite illuminating - would like to read it with you much would like to ask you about. Think it is fine - but quite a difference in “Being aware so late” and “Soul light” would like to know which it was.

It is possible for her to have heard it amiss - but very very seldom does such a thing come up - she is very good.

Possibly can clear this up in the next reading.

Will be looking for you Tuesday night if practical for you to be here - we are having a go to house-keeping shower for Miss Gladys that night - but will have Bible class also - have had company this last week end they are still here Mr. and Mrs. Poss [Marguerite (“Peggy”) and Louis B. I must acknowledge receipt of your nice letter along with your book, “A Search for God”. When I ordered the book, I was under the impression I was to pay one dollar for it, but there was no C.O.D. charges. If it was sent to me free of charge, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart.

The book was very interesting indeed, and it is being read by quite a few of my friends. Of course, you know it is hard for people to believe in your work, unless and until, they could have the real experience with you, but for ourselves, we have been converted.

I know you are doing a great work, and feel that your work has not been in vain.

In your letter you stated that the book of your life would be out some time on November. When that book is on the market, please consider this as an order for one of the first issues to be mailed to me C.O.D. No matter what the cost might be. Please keep that in mind.

During the month of May of this year, I made a visit to the old home town, “Hopkinsville,” for my first time in fifteen years, and it was quite a thrill to me. I met with, and talked to, quite a few of your relatives while there. It was my first and last visit. I’ll never see Hopkinsville again.

Edgar, if you ever decide to visit in the Great North-west, let it be understood you and yours are cordially invited to visit with us as long as you care to stay. The pleasure would be all ours.

Have yours of the 25th - good to hear from you again - thank you for your report on the book “A Search for God” yes know how hard it is to convince people - guess I should know that better than any one.

Sending you notice of the Book “There is a River” think you will like the way this is written, this will help you to talk to others about the work as it speaks for its self - and as the information has given - speak to others ask them to read the book and tell you what they think.

Haven’t been home now in some time - but every thing has changed there about only one of the old folks of my father’s family now left, so there isn’t a great deal to draw me back either - but it is still the old home town.

Thanks B for your invitation, may be possibly that will get out that way in the next year or so, if the Lord is willing as have quite a number of friends whom have never met on the west coast - but mostly in Cal. but if get out that way will certainly try and see you.

Thanks again - it was I who sent you the Book “A Search for God” that is the philosophy of the work - most people may wish to read that after they have read the Story of my life - but that came out first as it has been fostered by the Study Groups. The other is financed of course by the Co who publishes it.
