This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Milton W. Harrison, 56 Highland Circle, Bronxville, N.Y., this 16th day of April, 1940, in accordance with request made by the mother, through Mrs. [1837] and Mrs. [1602], Associate Members of the Ass”n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc., Virginia Beach, Va.

Time of Reading 3:45 to 4:10 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. …, Pennsylvania.

1. HLC: You will continue with the Life Reading for this entity through this channel, answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [2156] and the information which has been indicated through these channels as an interpretation of the records as we find them here.

3. Those appearances in the earth that have been indicated are not all, but rather those given that there might be the due consideration by those who are privileged to have the care, the attention of this entity in this material experience.

4. Heed those warnings indicated, to not bring into the experience of the entity - by those who guide or guard the developing years - any who may approach with unbelief.

5. Rather know, as indicated, those who approach this entity without the consideration of who she is and what she may mean to the world at this time bring on their OWN selves destructive influences; even as those who had the opportunity of having God in their presence and yet believed not.

6. For, as the entity here comes as a directing influence in the affairs of individuals, in the affairs of groups, - yea, of the nations of the world, - SOW the seeds of righteousness that fall from the lips of the entity, and leave the results with God.

7. For He alone quickeneth and bringeth to fruition those things that are His ways, His means, and His manners.

8. But let all who come in contact with this entity know that God indeed is mindful of the children of men, and seeketh a way, a manner, to bring - to those who are of good will - the knowledge that He is EVER mindful of those who seek His face.

9. As given in the information concerning Elizabeth, - the entity was a channel for the forerunner of the Master, Christ; and, as there is sanctioned, as there is realized in the minds, the hearts of those who would and do distribute the words of the prophetess, HIS ways, God’s ways, Christ’s ways, are not past finding out, but are ready for those who will harken - and then live in their own lives that as the messenger gave, - “The day of the Lord is at hand!” to all that will harken, that will heed His call!

10. Then, - let all who would sponsor, who would aid this entity in ANY manner, put away from themselves all hate, all malice, all that would cause any to err, and bring THEMSELVES - in THEIR conversation - in keeping with the messages that will come.

11. Thus may that entity as proclaimed to Elizabeth speak to those who are honored with the care of this prophetess!

12. Before the entrance as Elizabeth, we find that the entity was in the Egyptian land, when in the Temple Beautiful there were those preparations of individuals who were to act among the children of men as channels through which which those who had named the name of the Christ might be made manifest.

13. The entity, - as Angelia, - manifested in the dance, the rhythm of the body, in its preparation to be a channel through which such forces, such influences, might be made manifest.

14. From that experience we find in the present the manner of expression as indicated in the realm of music, bodily motion, bodily exercise; for the entity may give expression to that “feel,” that sense, that color, that tone, that vibration which brings harmony into the lives of those privileged to become aware of such, in the manner capable of being expressed or manifested by this entity.

15. Before that we find that the entity was in the Beginning, when the sons of God came together to announce to Matter a way being opened for the souls of men, the souls of God’s creation, to come again to the awareness of their error.

16. The entity then, as indicated from those experiences, was among those ANNOUNCING same.

17. Hence as the music of the spheres, in the voice of nature itself, we find that expression; in the laughter of the entity, in the sound of its voice, in the look of its eye, in the movement of its body, in the patter of its feet; giving expression in a manner that brings to the minds and consciousnesses of those who seek to know God and God’s ways with the children of men, a manifestation, an expression of same.

18. Then, - to those who would harken:

19. Give ye - each one - thanks and praise to thy Maker, through the Christ, the Lord, that ye have been counted worthy to come into the presence of one so endeared to the heart of God, as to have given into thy keeping such a messenger, such a way of manifesting His love in the earth!

20. Harken to those voices that will again and again proclaim through the entity the IDEALS of the Lord.

21. Curtail oft those inclinations to seek information concerning those things that would bring or create strife in any section, in any land.

22. Love - LOVE - as manifested in hope, faith, charity, kindness, patience, - THESE be the fruit of the Spirit of God!

23. Ready for questions.

24. (Q) In past incarnations, what has been the present mother’s association and connection with the entity? (A) Close in attendance and care, oft; else the conditions in the present would be too great a burden for any!

The present mother was a friend in the experience before this; bemoaning the lack of the appreciation of the entity as the musician and the lover.

Before that she was as the closest friend to the entity, Elizabeth; caring for her through that period when the prophet came.

Also there have been many other close associations; for, remember, many sojourns have there been for a little while; but these as indicated are the ones that need to be impressed, and pondered in the hearts and minds and purposes of those who foster, who care for the entity, - those who would see God’s way among those where strifes, turmoils, disappointments and fears arise in the present.

Take warning, then, - and as the mother has gathered in the present, let its prayer oft be, “THY WILL, O GOD! HAVE THY WAY WITH ME!”

25. (Q) What has been the association of [1837] with the entity? (A) In the experience especially as Elizabeth we find the associations with most of those who would sponsor, who would crown the entity with their voice.

But hold not malice against any who deny, lest ye bring condemnation to thyself!

We find that the entity, was a friend to the entity, especially during those periods when there was the sacrifice of the father Zachariah; and it is he that ye see shadowing the entity oft.

26. (Q) Anything else that may be given at this time? (A) Anything else?!! WORLDS! Worlds might be filled with that as might be given!

But let each of you here so live the Christ-Consciousness, as manifested in the Master, that you may be counted worthy to be even as those who would gather the crumbs of wisdom that will be manifested through this entity!

HARK! YE FRIENDS! I, MICHAEL, LORD OF THE WAY, WOULD GIVE THEE WARNING!

BOW THINE HEADS, YE VILE ONES OF THE EARTH! KNOW WHAT HAS BEEN ENTRUSTED TO THEE!

LIVE THE LIFE, LEST YE BE COUNTED ACCURSED FOR BEING UNWORTHY OF THE TRUST GIVEN THEE!

R1. 8/10/40 Mother of [2156] referred Mrs. [2328] for a Life Reading and for her afflicted nephew, [2319].

R2. 10/18/40 Miss [1387]‘s letter: “We saw Mr. and Mrs. David E. Kahn and Mrs. […] and Mrs. […] last Tuesday at the Shop. We had the little [2156] there with her mother and father. The mother talked and showed us the book with all the newspaper clippings and notarized statements, etc., and the little girl was supposed to give us a message but as those things always happen she did not. Even though there were just a few people there to me the vibrations were not right to get anything across. She is an elfin like little thing and as you watch her you can see that she is in touch with something that is beyond the normal ken.”

R3. 10/23/40 EC’s letter to Miss [1387]: “The little [2156] is a darling child - do so hope they will take the warnings correctly - suppose everyone has ideas about such things - but the readings have been right so many, many times - feel they should heed a bit better than they have at some times.”

R4. 11/13/40 Mother’s letter: ”…Please feel at liberty to discuss [2156]‘s reading with Mr. Kahn if you wish to do so.

“I should be very happy to have been able to see you while you are in New York but I am unable at the present time to make the trip.

“I have arrangements for two lectures in near by cities and my time will be pretty well taken up. However, you know that my well wishes and those of [2156] go forward to you in the work you are doing. One gives so much and is so little appreciated. But, those who have awareness must go on as did the trail blazers of old. It is a pity time seems to be such an element in the present vibration. And there is so much dead wood which has to be cut away, before the light of truth may be revealed to many.

“I met Mr. & Mrs. Kahn in New York and think they are good sincere people. Will you kindly remember me to them? Also please tell Tom S. I am happy about his book and wish him all the luck in the world. He is certainly a jewel of light in a darkened world.

“With the kindest regards to yourself and Hugh Lynn and Miss Gladys, I am” […]

R5. 11/15/40 EC’s letter to [2156]‘s mother: “Have yours of the 13th also Mr. Kahn showed me the letter from Mr. […] [your husband] - do not think we will have opportunity to get this while here just now, but upon our return home will write you and make an appointment if you like. However, think you need your physical reading first - but who am I to tell you what you wish or need, just know this, Mrs. […], am most anxious to help whenever possible in any way to further the Kingdom of God.

Yes - had hoped we might see you and [2156] - sorry circumstances do not permit this at this time.

Hope she is well - and you and yours are the very best.

Hoping to hear from you and to in some small way be of a real service.”

R6. 12/10/40 Mother’s letter: “Please believe me Mr. Cayce - I appreciate your expressed desires to be of service. God bless you for the wish. There are only too few in the world who honestly have the interests of the Kingdom of Heaven at heart. Since the Divine source of Ageless Wisdom deemed it fit to entrust to me with the care and love of The Little [2156] I have worked to that end, the interests for which the earth children have been so blessed. In my blundering, ignorant way I have tried to do my best. Until this poor body fails completely, I shall continue to follow the directions of The Entity.

It is true I am not well physically. Nor, have I been for sometime. But, I have really had not the time nor the inclination to dwell on my self. It is only that others are concerned. However, this I do know - were I to be taken, Mr. [husband] who has done everything under the sun to combat [2156]‘s work would see to it that nothing would ever reach the public’s ear again. So, you see I have had much to contend with - in my own home ties, much - which I really could not discuss with strangers. Therefore, I do not consider you a stranger but one of a kindred soul - who knows and understands. Why this added burden should be placed upon me I do not know. But as I ever pray ‘Thy will be done’. It comes for some purpose. And I shall call it ‘good.’

Just now, I have a message to be delivered in-person to the Duke and Duchess of Windsor at Nassau. When and if?, - [2156] and I will take it to them. I am addressing them to see if they will receive [2156]. The prophecy is one which will change the history of the British Empire. And when the fulfillment comes about, it will have been properly recorded. This is, of course, written to you in confidence.

God bless you and the inspirational work you are doing. As I pray for the fruits of your labors to benefit mankind may I ask that you also pray with us for humanity’s open minds to receive the blessings which are theirs for the taking. What a privilege to have been able to express even a little in this short sojourn. We earth-children are so willful in our own life’s pattern. And so often get off the beam of our true destinations. And forget our real missions. God help us to realize His true intentions.

R7. 7/10/41 She referred Mr. [2532] for a Physical Reading. [GD’s note: We later learned that [2156]‘s parents had separated and that the child was living with her father.]

R8. 9/63 We heard that [2156] had married; that her early unhappy life as a “psychic” had been abandoned when she was separated from her mother.

R9. 10/24/64 Mother’s second husband wrote of [2156]‘s mother’s death [the first husband having died a few years earlier] and stated that [2156] and her husband were living in …, Penna., and were in the wholesale distributing business.

R10. 10/27/64 GD wrote directly to [2156] asking for details about her life since GD met her on 4/16/40 when the mother was present for 2156-2. No reply. [The letter may not have reached her.]
