GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time; with suggestions for further corrective measures, answering the questions, as I ask them:
-
EC: Yes, we have the body here; this we have had before.
-
There are many changes in the physical forces of this body since last we had same here. While there have been some inconsistencies in the administrations of the periods of prayer with and for the body, these still have been effective, as have also the treatments.
-
Do not leave off entirely the use of the Wet Cell Appliance, if we would build for this body sufficient nerve plasm to aid continuously the administrations for the vision, the hearing, and the abilities in speech.
-
We would begin to test the eyes for their refractory activities. As we find, there can be sufficient help now in the vision, with the lens to make the division more helpful to the rest of the improvements needed to form better reaction in the sympathetic nerve forces.
-
These we would do.
-
Ready for questions.
-
(Q) Can you recommend a specialist who would be best to fit glasses? (A) These we would test. Best to have an eye, ear and nose specialist do the test rather than just an optometrist. Have more than one to give reports on same, for these will be merely tests in the beginning, but we would have the body fitted with glasses.
-
(Q) Could she be able to see today if given the correct glasses? (A) It will lead to this.
-
(Q) Have any of the defects in her eyes, with which she was born, disappeared? (A) There is reflex in the optic nerve. There was little in the beginning. Unless there is the fitting of lenses this may eventually cause tightening of the muscles of the optic nerve itself. But with these tests and reflexes we will have vision.
If there will be used more that suggestion for prayer, and the Wet Cell Appliance more, we will also get better results.
-
(Q) Is her brain of normal size? (A) This is active and is very good. It is never the size of the brain that is important but how many indentations are in it.
-
(Q) Is she mentally defective? (A) No.
-
(Q) Beyond speaking two words, she shows no inclination to talk; is there anything we can do to get her to speak? (A) Just keep up with these treatments. Give those stimulations in the upper dorsal and through the cervical with the osteopathic treatments. Let these be far apart but thoroughly given, preferably by an eye, ear and nose specialist in osteopathy.
-
(Q) Is she any closer to getting her sight than was revealed at the last reading? (A) As just given she is closer to getting it. This is not indicated by just the passing of time, but the change in the conditions in all of the organs of the sensory system.
Do be patient, do be persistent, do be prayerful - not merely saying the words but living them.
- We are through with this reading.

Reports & Follow-up
R1. 1/24/72 [2436]‘s parents requested copies of 2436-1 through 2436-6 and of 2796-1 and 2796-2.
R2. 2/13/72 [2436]‘s mother, Mrs. [2796] wrote:
“[2436] is now thirty-one years young. That is literally true. She looks more like sixteen years. She is completely blind - lost the little light perception she had as a youngster. She functions on a retarded level but speaks very well, even though at one time I doubted that she would talk at all. At this point is there anything we can do for her?”
