This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 1st day of June, 1931, in accordance with request made by self, through her husband - Mr. [378].

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [255]. We find there has ARISEN acute conditions from a COMBINATION of effects, or affectations for the system. These are PARTIALLY astrological, partly from the change in the blood conditions - in the period or portion of the year - partially from those effects of conditions in the system as related to the DIGESTIVE system, especially as to the gall ducts and the eliminations. Nausea comes from same; pains in the right side, extending at times up towards the heart and towards the upper portion of the colon.

2. WE would - IMMEDIATELY - take as these: Cinnamon water and lime water we would combine together, see? Keep them separate, but when given (and they may be given every two hours until the nausea is decreased) a teaspoonful of each in half a glass of water - see?

3. We would also apply the hot packs of castor oil over the LIVER area, using a heavy pack - that is, at least three thicknesses of flannel, sufficiently large to cover the liver AREA, and keep this warm - keeping it up for at least two to three hours.

4. Take a high enema. In the gallon or gallon and a half of water put half a teaspoonful of plain salt and two level teaspoonsful of baking soda.

5. Take, tomorrow or next day, two to five drops of Glyco-Thymoline internally, every three to four hours, until we have a cleared stomach.

6. The foods as will be taken will be ONLY those that are of EASY digestion, as of malted milks, dried milks, dried toast, or preferably still Zwieback, with citrous fruit juices that are non acid - which most of these are, especially lemon juice, orange juice, or grapefruit juice. This chilled, would be well.

7. This should pass in from one to two days.

8. It would be well were a general osteopathic manipulation given over the system every day for the next two or three days. Ready for questions. We are through with this reading.
